|Mary Ostrowski||RE: St. Calixte Cemetery|
Carol: Thanks for your prompt response. Are you aware that there is also an old St. Calixte Cemetery? I have seen that listed in some Quebec info. In other words, there are 2 cemeteries in Plessisville. I am trying to find the administrator of St. Calixte cemetery and assume the church is no longer active since I don't see it listed in Google anywhere as an active parish. Perhaps the City Hall would have some info... Is the cemetery still currently burying people or no longer doing so? I ask all this since you have been there... I plan on going May 9th since I will be in Sherbrooke that date and it is not far from there. It would be my first visit... Any suggestions?

I live in Maine and hope to visit Plessisville, Quebec in May and want to visit St. Calixte Cemetery... Is there someone to contact to get a plot map of the cemetery... so I can find my ancestors... Thanks for your info..
Thank you for your message. If you look at the grave marker photo, you will notice that there four children listed. Thomas R., Thankful R., Eliza C. and Thankful R. There were two daughters in the family named Thankful R., who both apparently died young. So, not a duplicate. Thanks again!

|Monique Cadieux||RE: Benjamin Cadieux|
I made a mistake on my last message. Benjamin Cadieux married to Aurelie Raymond was my grand father's uncle and not his brother. There is another Benjamin Cadieux who was born on Jan. 17, 1871 in St.Luc (St.Jean). This one was my grand-father!s brother.
I am sorry
|Monique Cadieux||Benjamin Cadieux|
Benjamin Cadieux who was married to Aurelie-Desanges Raymond, Amelia in your records, was my grand-father's brother Charles Cadieux born 04-23 b-24-1876 in Richelieu, Qc. died 01-07-1944 in St-Pie-de-Bagot, Qc. married 06-05-1899 in St-Pie-de-Bagot, Qc to Rose-Alba Couture born 04-18 bap. 19-1878 in St-Pie-de-Bagot, d. 10-06-1964 in St-Pie-de-Bagot. Father Anthime Couture, mother Albina Provost.
Many of my grand-mother's family moved to the USA.
I hope this is helpful to your genealogy records and I am happy to find more relatives.
p.s. I am doing my best with the English spelling!

John F. Andrews is my maternal great-grandfather and I am doing some extensive research into my family's ancestry. Is he related to you and where did you gt his photo?
