My connection to the Saugatuck / Douglas area is through my wife, Catherine Schreiber Wiese, who was the granddaughter of Thor Schreiber of Douglas, and his wife, Emma Buttner Schreiber. My wife and I used to go to Douglas for our vacations, staying at the old George C. Morgan / Lenore Schreiber Morgan house on lakeshore drive, which was owned at that time by Catherine's mother. Anyone who wants to drop me a line via my email will get a reply, albeit after a little time, perhaps.
