Bio

I have been researching seriously for about twenty years. Most of my family research is in South Carolina. My family names that I am researching are Cain, Drayton, Bull, Hyman, Finklea, Munn, Patrick, Smith, Edens, Bethea, Walter, Stone, Witherspoon, Coward, Rowand, Tidyman, Turner & Bartell. These are all South Carolina families. Seems like my ancestors came here and stayed!
I will do photo requests in Florence, Darlington, Marion & Sumter counties. Sometimes I may be able to go to Wiliamsburg, Marlboro or Chesterfield counties. I may not be able to get to it within the 14 days due to work and schedule conflicts. But I do try not to claim a request that I can't fullfill.
I love old cemeteries and so many are dissappearing due to development. They are simply being covered over with no respect to the fact that a cemetery is sacred ground. Find A Grave is valuable tool in documenting our disappearing heritage and I am happy to be a part of this.
