Wanda A. Gall
CLARKSBURG — Mrs. Wanda A. Gall, age 91, of 5425 High Mill Avenue, Massillon, OH, formerly of Broadway Ave., Clarksburg, WV, passed away at 1:20 p.m. on Saturday, May 17, 2008, at the Rose Lane Health Center in Massillon, OH.
She was born in Weston, WV, September 16, 1916, a daughter of the late Artenes Bean and Martha Olive Curtis Bean.
Her husband, Roy Kenneth Gall, whom she married December 23, 1949, preceded her in death on April 30, 1983.
Surviving are, a son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth David and Marilyn Gall, Massillon, OH; a brother, Nelson Andrew Bean, Jane Lew, WV; two sisters, Mamie Cuppett, Weston, WV, and Bernadine Walters, Jane Lew, WV; two granddaughters, Melissa Amber Gall and Stephanie Lynn Gall, and one great-grandson, Zachary David Gall, all of Massillon, OH.
Mrs. Gall was also preceded in death by three brothers, James Curtis Bean, John Irvin Bean and Hansel Artenes Bean, and two sisters, Virginia Booth and Dorothy Reder.
Mrs. Gall was Baptist by faith and a homemaker.
Friends may call at the Davis-Weaver Funeral Home, 329 East Main Street, Clarksburg, from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Tuesday, where a funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, May 20, 2008, with Pastor Donald M. Fowler presiding.
Interment will follow in the Broad Run Cemetery in Jane Lew, WV.

According to Cemetery records Carrie Boylen is Buried in Section F # 325. But I was unable to find any stone.

Interesting! That headstone did interest me because it has room for 4 names but only one is entered. I don't recall seeing other Laytons there. Bluemont is pretty big, and I've only recently started walking it. I will keep an eye out for Mary
I like helping to solve mysteries.

You are absolutely right. I re-checked the death certificate and it is a different set of parents. Dunno how I missed that. :(

Always glad when I can help someone out. I photographed that entire section, and was consulting the burial book for the early ones to get the exact plot number. To my surprise, when I looked her up, she wasn't where they said she was!
