EDWIN
I looked at the sites again and the EDWIN did go to the correct site. The dates and other info all came from his draft reg.

Albert Mc Elroy Jr
Hi Sharon

I just got a rejection from you for an edit where I tried to link Albert Mc Elroy to his mother Emma G Mc Elroy. I went and reviewed how I got that and it looks pretty solid. He appears in Springvale, Logan ,OK in the 1920 FC with his mothers name listed as Emma Mc Elroy with the correct father and parents birthplaces. On the 1910 FC shows Springer instead of Springvale (An error I think),Logan , OK . This one doesn't list mothers name but it does show the parents married 7 years and Albert Jr only 3.

I did mess up on the edit you approved adding Edwin as middle name for Albert . I took this from the WW1 Draft Registration for his father of the same name. I did not find another record on this being Albert Jr's middle name.

Family
My dad was Sam Tomlinson Sr. He passed away last year and left me a lot of family history information with Ingle's being in some of it. I think you and I kind of have the same interest when it comes to tracking down family. To give you a little back ground; I served as a Marine and came back home to Kansas. I currently live in Neodesha Kansas and have been a Police Officer for 20 years. I have a sister that lives in Chickasha Oklahoma. Not to sound like a stalker but I would absolutely love to meet up with you and would be more that willing to get you copies of stuff that I have on the Ingle's side of the family. I go to visit my sister in Chickasha every once in a while so if your interested maybe we could all meet up and go over some papers. If you are interested get a hold of me. I am on Facebook or you can call and leave a message at Neodesha Police Department (620-325-3031). I will also try and find you on Facebook incase this message doesn't get through.

Sharon ~

I mentioned you in this post. I don't know what can of worms I've set out for public review. Think of 'Finding Everett' as a long-winded means of saying, "Happy New Year!"

Thank you for your prompt reply, Sharon ~

And for supplying another image of the grave.

Funny thing about Google: it continues researching in the background. Today's results returned the 2 July 1915 issue of the Carney [OK] Enterprise. From pg. 3, col. 2: "It is reported here that Everet (sic) Rhodes and Miss Gertrude Hardesty were married at Fallis last Sunday. We have no particulars."

I would have appreciated particulars. Like a first name. An Ollie Everett Rhodes (1894-1980) & Memorial# 72138910 also fits family lore.

Inscription, as you have noted, reads "Gone but not forgotten." I think this notable, as we approach the centenary of Gertrude's death.

Best,
Roger

Thank you for battling the cedar tree at Fallis Cemetery (somewhere I have a photo of my aunt, with an axe on her shoulder, as we took one down at the grave in the 90s).
I see your note: "Husband was Frank Everett Rhodes." I'm having a difficult time running him. Do you have a source for that, or date of birth?
Thanks ever so much,
Roger Hardesty,

Lizzie E Raupe
My grandmother was Florence E Raupe (Toner) daughter of Lizzie E Raupe and Oren. She was born on October 13 1899. According to her, her mother died in childbirth. The date on the gravestone is difficult to read, but couldn't possibly be October 8, since Florence was born Oct. 13. I'm guessing it says 13 or maybe 18.
