Bio

I started adding to Find a grave out of duty. I have recieved so much information for my genealogy research based on the works of others. I felt it was time to give back to the field. I also have a keen interest in local history and enjoy walking through cemeteries and reading the headstones. You can learn a lot about a town's history by viewing its dead.
I can promise you there are mistakes in my work I am more then happy to correct errors found in it. E mail me with any corrections or if you have additions to any entry please feel free to let me know.
As you read entries you may note some do not have a death date on them. I have no evidence one way or the other as to if that person is alive or not. I choose to list the person with disclaimer so that the entire cemetery may be listed on the site.
I do try and go through an entire cemetery and list all stones in it. As I do not have long lunch breaks I can often get only a few stones at a time. With such time constraints I cannot always clean up a stone for proper picture taking. If your family has a less then flattering stone I am sorry for that. You may let me know. If I get time I will go back and retake that picture for you.
This project has been fun and rewarding. If you have not ever entered information and taken pictures I highly recomend it. It is not without its faults though. I have run into snakes and have been bitten by a dog in the process of this project. That is a minor problem though. All people deserve to be remembered. The Good Lord took the time to make them and no mater how brief their life that makes it worth remembering.
