Bio

I remember as a child hearing my Aunt Clark talk about her family's history. She knew all her cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. And she did her best to document her family legacy, and to share it with anyone who would listen. I would like to think that she'd be proud that my wife and I are carrying the torch, and trying to fill in some of the blanks. I think Clarkie would be fascinated with all of the tools we have available in the modern world. But it is still the disparate branches of the family scattered here and there that bring it all together anyway, whatever the technology, be it pen and paper or laptops.

I actively research these family names: Speer, Link, Ammons, Wardlaw, Cheatham, McGaw, Paul, Matthews, Calhoun, Robertson, Lyon, Brough and many others I have yet to discover.

I will gladly assist and share information with whoever I can help in their genealogy quests.

I'd also like to say that everyone I have encountered in the find-a-grave community has been very helpful, supportive and willing to help in documenting our common legacies. Let's keep working at this together - who knows where it will lead us.
