Bio

Please forgive me for my lengthy absence. I have been battling Stage 3 kidney disease along with 2 other serious illnesses.

I understand your frustration with the corrections you have requested and I am working on those corrections. Again, I apologize for your inconvenience.

I became interested in my family's history when my grandmother began telling me stories about things that happened while she was growing up in Indian Territory.
I have been researching my family's history for about 8 years now and I am still pretty much a novice but I'm learning a lot from each person I come in contact with through my research. I would love to learn new techniques for gaining information. I learned a very hard lesson with Ancestry.com so I don't join sites that force you to pay to view information before you know whether it will benefit your research.
Until my health is better, my husband and my mother are helping me with the photo requests in this area.
I love this site but I'm not crazy about the forums. I try to remain positive about all things and it may be just me but the few times I've been on there were not pleasant. Life is way too short for such negativity so I don't visit the forums very often.
You can always leave me a message here or email me privately.
