Hi. I'm Nancy, and like a number of others, I became a fan of Findagrave.com while researching my own family roots. Because I was able to find information about my family, I wanted to "pay it forward" by getting information out there for other families. I have taken photos and added memorials for a few people in Tennessee while visiting my sister and in Illinois and Missouri while visiting my family historical sites, but mostly I work trying to keep my local cemetery updated with pictures, memorials, and when possible, obituaries. I'm not aiming for high numbers and am not possessive of my memorials (unless they are on my family tree, I suppose.) If I have made a memorial for your family member and you would like to manage it, please let me know, I will happily turn it over to family. If you feel I have stepped on your toes by adding someone you had hoped to add, let me know and I will remove the memorial. My aim is to get the information out there; I don't care about having my name attached to it. If I have made a mistake, and I do, please let me know so I can fix it.

I so appreciate Findagrave for allowing us to have a free forum for getting information and am willing to volunteer my time in hopes that others are doing the same where my family lives.
