I inherited my family genealogy information from my mother and was doing research with her over the mail back in the 1980's and waiting for replies. We also went to Fort Wayne, Indiana Library for research many times. Before all of that my grandfather started the genealogy research in the 1950's. Since my mother passed I have been actively researching. Now, with computers; findagrave and ancestry; research is exciting. I have been one of the first in my Ake line to actively research and develop a database on my Ake families. I have enjoyed greeting new relatives and sharing information. Most of my information is on "The Master Genealogist." I am slowly moving everything to Ancestry. But, I also use Findagrave.
