RE: Hannah M. Flynn died 1948
Thanks Ruth.

I will contact that parish.

Would the state of NJ or the County of Monmouth possibly also have a record of the marriage?

Thank you for your help.

Hannah M. Flynn died 1948
Hello Ruth.

Hannah M. Flynn was the second wife of my great great grandfather, Thomas Joseph Flynn.
Hannah and Thomas were married circa 1906.

Hannah and Thomas lived in Brooklyn, NY, but Hannah had grown up in West Long Branch , NJ and she is buried in Mount Carmel Cemetery, West Long Branch, New Jersey in 1948.

I suspect that although they lived in Brooklyn, they may have been married in Hannah's hometown of West Long Branch.

Do you have any suggestions as to how I can try to find their 1906 marriage record, either the New Jersey State record or the Catholic Parish record in West Long Branch, NJ?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Mary Poll #35649935
Thanks Ruth. I was kind of leaning toward maybe a second wife but kind of felt like I might be jumping the gun so needed to run it by someone else. Then it hit me maybe it was a daughter instead since it was 20 years but then you never can tell.
Usually if it's just two names on a monument it's man & wife, but then again sometimes I have seen it as siblings to save the family money.
Thanks again for the input and think I will just leave it as man & wife unless I find out different down the line.

Mary Poll # 35649935
Several questions about this memorial. Is it possible that Mary was the daughter, not the wife? There is a 20 yr difference in birth dates of Christian & Mary. Then again could this have just been a much younger wife or a second wife?? The info I have in my database follows or could it be wrong?

Joachim "Christian" Friedrich Poll b. July 18, 1844 Donning, Grimmen, Stralsund, Prussia d. June 17, 1892 Sadorus, Champaign County, Illinois bur: Craw Cemetery, Sadorus, Champaign County, Illinois m. June 17, 1866 Champaign Co., IL to Anna Maria "Mary" Katherina Demlow, July 25, 1845 Germany d. 1877 Champaign County, Illinois. (no burial place listed.

What are your thoughts on this??

Thanks ahead of time for your input

Would you please read the message I left for Dave V # 46889469 re: Royal Comeau . Thank you.

I have just registered but not signed up to answer requests yet but I will soon. If you would like to transfer Royal to me that would be fine!

I would like to add more of my family in May when I am in NJ from FL.
