I've been researching my family's history for about 22 years now. I love playing the detective and searching through old books for any piece of information that would get me closer to the truth. |
I have a wonderful husband, daughter and son. Unfortunately, they do not share my passion. So I'm on my own. Good thing I like this stuff.
Thank you to all the people that have contributed to me finding my family roots: pictures, family trees, sharing information, etc. I couldn't have did it without you.
Happy searching everyone.

|Randy ||Claud Cutbirth|
Hi, my name is Randall Cutbirth. I'm doing some research on my family history and have come to a dead end as to the father of Claud Cutbirth. I know his mother is Nancy Cutbirth. He was my great grandfather. His son Jesse Cutbirth was my grandfather. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

I Debbie, Apparently I had clue what I was doing with the dates on that memorial LOL, the death cert is correct and I updated the memorial. I also found the obits for her and her husband Richard and added them as well.
Thanks for letting me know!

Hi Debbie, I'm not sure if the name was changed or if there was an error. I'll see if I can find more.

I declined your edit for a 10/17/1844 birth date because Susanna's death certificate lists a date of 2/17/1844. However, her calculated birth date (from age at death inscribed on her tombstone) is 2/17/1845. I went with the marker in this case.

I added photos to John and Catherine Fellin's memorials. Please note, the stone says her dod is 1945.

|Deborah Rudy||Alice Stroh's work|
I've been working on correcting errors, adding missing graves, and photographing unphotographed headstones for Find A Grave in the Dauphin County area cemeteries that Alice Stroh originally recorded. There are so many errors in her work I have seen online that don't agree either with census/birth/death records or the actual headstones.
I am wondering if you know where a hard copy of her work can be found. Or if she did a lot of guessing? I have heard that she skipped any stone that wasn't easily read. I knew her in her old age, but I wasn't interested in headstones back then. Thanks.
