Bio and Links
Bio Photo Hi .. I found this site by a mutual researcher sending me the link and found it to be a GREAT asset! I enjoy doing family research so much I started collecting all records, pictures and what ever on my surname NANCE, and other variations of spelling NANCES/NANTZ/NANTS ect...

❤ *=^..^=*.❤❤.*=^..^=* ❤

I would be glad to add to or update bio information for that individual or transfer (If not my own relatives) ownership of the ones I have added. ALSO I have sent in hundreds of additions/corrections to memorials. PLEASE SEND NAME & MEMORIAL # with any request or replies to these additions/corrections I have sent.

❤ *=^..^=*.❤❤.*=^..^=* ❤

If I have put a flower on any NANCE/NANTZ/NANTS ect, I probably have info. to share . as I research all these lines. ONLY ON THE NANCE SIDES. PLEASE SEND MEMORIAL # with request, I have put flowers on over 12,500+ memorials. thanks :) I am the admin. of a group NANCE (surname) From Around the World on Facebook for those researching NANCE lines. This is a private group for Nance researchers so you will have to send me a private message to get in.

❤ *=^..^=*.❤❤.*=^..^=* ❤

THANK YOU! To those who fill photo request and those who correct mistakes, and removing duplicates!!

❤ *=^..^=*.❤❤.*=^..^=* ❤

For the rest of you people what's up with you? You don't own any of these memorials!! And your NOT the only one related!!!

I get so tired of hearing people say they wont delete a duplicate memorial because.. {for whatever reason!!}.

Per F.A.G. rules.. You should never deliberately create a duplicate memorial. You should use the tools provided to submit corrections, additions or a transfer request via the "Suggest A Correction" link under the 'Edit' tab on the upper right of the memorial. !! THIS MEANS YOU TOO!! Even if you do have more information! I find this as YOU being inconsiderate to those who created the original, for all you know they are related too.. ALSO do a search for the person your about to add by name and one of the known years, birth or death, not just search the cemetery your about to add them to. Some people create memorials for family members they don't know where they are buried.

James M Smith
I read that on his memorial. What I was asking was, through which of his children do you descend?

Hi there Sonia - as you obviously have a connection to them, I've happily transferred them over to your loving care. My best, Cor.

Fannie Nance (#20535562
Notice in your bio you are a Nance researcher and apparently related to Fannie Nance. I am descended from Fannie's grandparents Ivy/Iva/Ivan Nance (the older 1822 NC-1899 MO) and Mary Lewis (1823 KY-1909 MO) thru their daughter Nancy E. Nance (ca 1845 MO-1872 MO). Nancy married James Thomas Shepherd, Jr aka Thomas A. Shepherd (1837 VA-1920 MO). Their daughter, Margaret Elizabeth Shepherd (1866 MO-1932 MO) married Sterling Price Berry (1861 MO-1933 MO). Margaret and Sterling were my paternal great grand-parents.. My son and I are trying to document Ivy Nance's parents. Would like to exchange info w/you and join your Nance research group. Look forward to hearing from you. Gayle E. (Elaine) Kent

RE: Elizabeth Nance
The Elizabeth that was born in 1778 (headstone says 1776. She was married to Allen Nance. Her daughter Mary Polly Dement is buried there along with Mary Polly's daughter, Agnes Lawrence. There is a copy of Allen's will that names his kids.
I believe one of the Elizabeth's maiden name was Nance but will have to look that up.

Elizabeth Nance
I believe Elizabeth is buried in the Lawrence Cemetery in Rutherford, TN along with her daughter Mary Dement and Granddaughter Agnes Lawrence. In the 1850 census for Rutherford, both women are living with Agnes and her husband. The birthdate is wrong but that is not unusual. Don't know where Allen is buried. I descend from Susan Nance Willbanks.

I have deleted the memorial you requested and assume you also transferred or will transfer all other information and photos posted on the newer memorial. Thanks for spotting the duplicate.

Infant Son Nance (#125316400)
Thanks for the correction. That's why I put "such-and-such HAS"; I can only go by what I find - in this case a family tree had an error and I followed it. C'est la vie.

Since you are a Nance, would you like me to transfer it to you?

Greetings! I came across your profile per your comment on Reuben Nance's findagrave memorial. I'm a descendant of William and Ann Nance's son, John. My last Nance ancestor was Miss Sarah (Sally) Elizabeth Nance who married Benjamin Cavender. I have been researching the Nance family for sometime now, but would like to know more about the marriage of William Nance, Jr. and Ann Eppes. I have been contacting historical societies in Virginia but all roads lead me to Francis Eppes, the progenitor of the American Ep/pes family, and little on the life or persona of Ann Eppes. I added the Facebook page of the Nances, hence the strange pseudonym. I hope to hear back.

I sent in edits for several graves in this cemetery and was rejected on each one. I know you hate people that create dups but if people will not accept edits and just submit sites from an index with no clue if it really exists then I will continue to make dups and be hated. Leland Jones
