Bio and Links
Bio Photo Hi .. I found this site by a mutual researcher sending me the link and found it to be a GREAT asset! I enjoy doing family research so much I started collecting all records, pictures and what ever on my surname NANCE, and other variations of spelling NANCES/NANTZ/NANTS ect...

❤ *=^..^=*.❤❤.*=^..^=* ❤

I would be glad to add to or update bio information for that individual or transfer (If not my own relatives) ownership of the ones I have added. ALSO I have sent in hundreds of additions/corrections to memorials. PLEASE SEND NAME & MEMORIAL # with any request or replies to these additions/corrections I have sent.

❤ *=^..^=*.❤❤.*=^..^=* ❤

If I have put a flower on any NANCE/NANTZ/NANTS ect, I probably have info. to share. as I research all these lines. ONLY ON THE NANCE SIDES. PLEASE SEND MEMORIAL # with request, I have put flowers on over 13,000+ memorials. thanks :) I am the admin. of a group NANCE (surname) From Around the World on Facebook for those researching NANCE lines. This is a private group for Nance researchers so you will have to send me a private message to get in.

❤ *=^..^=*.❤❤.*=^..^=* ❤

THANK YOU! To those who fill photo request and those who correct mistakes, and removing duplicates!!

❤ *=^..^=*.❤❤.*=^..^=* ❤

For the rest of you people what's up with you? You don't own any of these memorials!! And your NOT the only one related!!!

I get so tired of hearing people say they wont delete a duplicate memorial because.. {for whatever reason!!}.

Per F.A.G. rules.. You should never deliberately create a duplicate memorial. You should use the tools provided to submit corrections, additions or a transfer request via the "Suggest A Correction" link under the 'Edit' tab on the upper right of the memorial. !! THIS MEANS YOU TOO!! Even if you do have more information! I find this as YOU being inconsiderate to those who created the original, for all you know they are related too.. ALSO do a search for the person your about to add by name and one of the known years, birth or death, not just search the cemetery your about to add them to. Some people create memorials for family members they don't know where they are buried. I am not impressed by numbers, more impressed by accuracy and willingness to be helpful!!

If the duplicates end up getting merged it sometimes creates 2 people listed with same name under parents, depending on how people are attached to each other.. Do you want that???

RE: Dorcas Nance and Leander Nance
Who was Leander Nances father and mother. I have William Nance as his father and Sally Parker ? Sarah Parker. If you have any further info on Wm and Sally's parents? Does Leander Nance have a tombstone or unmarked grave in the Fishing Creek Arbor cemetery? On find a grave I noticed him listed in the cemetery but could not find his grave. I thank you so much for any info you can give me. I found an old cemetery off the Ball Rd in Wilkes co. And was told by an uncle that it was the old Anderson cemetery but unfortunately there are only rocks for headstones and no markings. Unsure who's graves they are. The graves are out beside a house which as since growed up. Back in the late 1990s I went with my uncle and someone in the house kept the grass cut around them. At that time my uncle probably told me some of the ones buried there but don't remember. Thanks for any info.

Dorcas Nance
I went to Wilkesboro to the fishing arbor church but unable to find a marker for Dorcas or Lee Nance. Was there a tombstone for them or unmarked grave? I have been unable to find info on the Nances or Brock's. Dorcas dad say Reeves Brock and mother Levina. Nothing comes up on when I enter those names. Any info is much appreciated. Thanks Lee and Dorcas nance are my great grandfather and great grandmother.
Thank you

Tanya Huddleston
Hi may name is Tanya Huddleston and my niece Michelle King are trying to find information about the Nance family. My grandmother was Effie Grace Nance, the twin sister to Jessie Nance. Their parents were William Nance and Clara Griffiths Nance of Arkansas. Clara died when Effie and Jessie were small and William married Dona (who remarried a man with the last name of Bradley) after William passed away and she moved to Chester Il. Effie passed away on Oct 18, 1936 at the age of 35 from cancer and left ten children and my mom was one of them. Her name was Thelma Choate (Bobbit). Effie married a man named Andrew Choate. I hope you will share any info you have with us so we may learn of more of our family and accept us into your group. Thank you...

You left flowers on these memorials; however, I entered them in error. They were duplicates and had to be deleted. Please add flowers to the original entries, #76071591 and #76071623. Sorry for this inconvenience.

RE: Brush Hill Cemetery
No, it is Tinnie Bell Nance Arnett's grandfather and his son. Edmund Nance and his son Edmund Nance. The stones are located between Tinnie and Rufus. I have visited the site many times and do have photos.

Brush Hill Cemetery

There are two marked graves in this cemetery with only stones. They are located between Rufus and Tinnie Bell Nance Arnett.

Tinnie's daughter, which is now deceased, informed me as to who is buried in them. I would like to identify both.
Thank you,

Alice Nance Garvin

RE: Alec Nance
Sonia - the registration record I am seeing for Pleasant Alexander Nance has the birth date as Dec 17, 1885 - could there be two records?
This one is signed by Fay Bartlett Sept 12 - 18.

RE: Alec Nance
Sonia - I now have the Draft Registration of Plesant Alexander Nance and the date of birth is given as December 17, 1885.
I don't know how to get you a copy.
If this date is accurate Ples would be the son of Mary L. Baker Nance and Alex Nance.
