Bio and Links
Bio Photo My ONLY intention is to create a HISTORICAL RECORDING of those who are "Gone, but not Forgotten" before their tombstones are lost forever and if that helps YOU find your family, super!

My paternal gggrandfathers were Alexander Allen (m. Nancy Adeline Branson) AND William Irvin Brewer. Alex Allen lived in Long, OK and died in 1915 in Muldrow, OK. My maternal gggrandfathers were Albert Lafayette Rogers buried in King Cemetery, Franklin Co, Arkansas and John Henry McGee.

Thanks to Teena Cantrell for helping me find my great-great-great grandparents John Pitcher and Polly Allen. And Thanks to Alvin Derby and Betty Taylor Thompson for helping me find Camp Meeting Cemetery where they are buried! What a treasure you are!!! All information about Camp Meeting Cemetery is by John Albert Burnett in the 1920's.

Thanks so much to Linda Creamer Furr who passed away June 2012 and Linda from Arkansas for all the biographical information on my entries in Franklin County, Arkansas. All obituaries or other information are credited to "The Johnson County Graphic", the "Sallisaw County Times" newspaper archives, Times Record Online, Agent Funeral Home, Sallisaw, Ok and Ancestry.com.

Remember me, as you pass by,
As you are so was I.
As I am you soon will be.
Prepare in Life for Eternity.

Oh Yeah, Meet you at the East Gate!!!

Thank you so much for the transfer! I have transferred them to my cousin, since she has the one for their father. Thanks again!

May I have your permission to copy the gravestone photo you have posted for Joseph E. Pratt in Blackjack Cemetery to my Ancestry tree? I will give you full credit for the photo. Thanks so much.

RE: Eddye Foster/Shrider memorial# 32868756
Thank you, once again for the California Death Index info. I changed it back to Shrider. I wish that Find-A-Grave would have a place in the name section where you could add additional spouses last names to make it easier to search for the ladies that have had more than one husband, but I guess that might get too lengthy in some cases.

Eddye Foster memorial# 32868756
Hello again, the Shrider last name was right; I found that she married Donald Lee Shrider in Fort Smith, AR in 1955. Should I list her as a Shrider or a Foster?

RE: Eddye A. Foster (Shrider)
Thank you,so much for the info on Eddye & Melvin D. Foster's marriage record. I will add this to their memorial pages. This will help greatly with the research on my husband's side of the family tree. I just found Melvin's first draft registration card. I guess the Shrider name must have been incorrect, I will leave it off. You have been most generous, the info is greatly appreciated.

Eddye A. Foster (Shrider)
Hello, I have a question about one of the Foster memorials that you transferred to me in May 2014, memorial # 32868756 for Eddye A. Foster in Yoestown Cemetery in Crawford County. When you transferred it to me, you had her last name as Shrider. I just noticed today that the last name should be Foster, so I changed it; because Foster was on her headstone. You didn't have Foster on the memorial page at all, I can't believe that I didn't notice this sooner. She was married to Melvin Donald Foster. I would like to know if you remember if Shrider was her maiden name & it got placed in the last name box, instead of the maiden name box or if it shouldn't be there at all? Please, I would appreciate your input. Thank you, so much!

Thank you for responding. Yes I would like to use some of the pictures in my Ancestry tree. How do we do that? I know that I can copy and paste but do I need to do something else and do you have copy writes on your entries?

Thank you for any help you may offer. My email is nicia4u@msn.com if you would prefer to send answer to me directly. I am close to the North East Georgia area.

Thanks, Nicia

Frances I have found another McCarty grave you have submitted. Are you related. Stephen McCarty would have been my gr-uncle, and I am trailing behind trying to get all my kin organized and together. I appreciate all your efforts because folks like you make it easy from your time and efforts to supply our searches. Please write if you can. nicia4u@msn.com Sincerely, Nicia McCarty Coffey
