I have always been interested in tracing my family history, even as a young child. Now that my relatives are getting older I want to try to gather and preserve as much information as I can.|
Some of the family surnames that I research are all the varients of Hoffert, Raifsnider, Reppert, Hartman, Furillo, Bowers, Wagner, Meyer, Merkey to name a few. I have helped many of my extended family and friends with their trees as well.
I am willing to manage any and all memorials for my family surnames (especially any varients of Raifsnider/Ralphsnider as I am working on all these families members in attempt to located my direct lineage). Feel free to transfer and try to post a message giving me a heads up.
I am in the Berks County Area. The Berks County Historical Society as a nice online database you can use to search most church and cemetery records. This site has helped me find maiden names, spouses, parents and burial sites I would not have known other wise. Another great source of information in Berks County online is this site from the Berks County Register of Wills.

|Theresa O||Carla Borelli|
I went back to Holy Cross Cemetery in Yeadon, PA to try to locate Carla's plot to take a photo, whether she has a headstone or not. I wondered though, if any of the following surnames are in Carla's family's? DiSipio - Greco - Brunetti - Montanaro - Vitale and a close one to Borelli - Borriello. Please let me know if any of these names ring a bell.
|Betsy Caposell||Elizabeth Myers photo I added to Findagrave|
Greetings. I added this photo because she is buried right next to her husband (Benjamin S Myers), whose gravestone photo I also uploaded. However, on her husband's other side is a headstone for another Elizabeth Myers. It is a perplexing one, because although it gives her exact birth date as Aug 26 1824, and her exact death date as Dec. 7 1832, it gives her age at death as 68 YEARS, 3 mo., and 1 day. The headstone is clear and in good shape. So I don't know who she is, and I don't know what to enter in the memorial I would create on findagrave for her.
To the left of Elizabeth's grave is another Myers. David Myers, b. May 8, 1802 (?), d. Mar. ?, 1868.
I will make memorials for them, but if you know how David & the other Elizabeth connect to your Elizabeth, wife of Benjamin S Myers, maybe I/we can at least link them.

Thank you for entering the info on John Reifschneider Fox. (know there are several spellings of the name..) I have entered a pic of his and Hannah Walt Fox's tombstone, thought you might be interested. He is our 2nd great grandfather, linked through his daughter Martha J Fox who had married Charles Singmaster. Their daughter Marietta is our paternal grandmother. We are just getting back to work on the Fox side of the family, were busy getting a few other relatives confirmed with the DAR. Thank you again for your entry! Diane Whittock
|Debbie Jackman||maiden name of Cora Schollenberger|
I think that the maiden name of Cora Schollenberger should be Leinbach. Reider is her mother's maiden name and may be her middle name. See the article posted on her listing.
Hi again - I should have asked in my previous post, so sorry for yet another post. This is my husband's family. Any chance you could transfer this memorial over to me? If so, then thank you very much. Keep up the good work.

When I went to get Margaret's photo, I also found a marker for S. Edward Reifsnyder # 139179314 8/21/1911 - 9/18/1981 and Sarah R Reissnyder 7/30/1915 -5/24/1995 #139179395 to the right of Margaret's stone. I hope this helps you.
I should have added that my line comes from her first marriage, to a Snyder.

Thank you for the photo of Mary's headstone, as well as one of the cemetery.
The other info you added will certainly help me in my research. My family lived in PA for a few generations before heading west.
