|Stephen Reed||Hallie J. Deremer question|
Greetings Jim -
Thank you for all your work. I have a question about a photo you have posted under Hallie J. Deremer, Memorial# 575970. There is a photo you have posted which is labeled "Hallie Deremer and his Wife, Alice Leona Compton". I wonder if you might have more information on the photo, or any writing on the back. My suspicion is that this photo is not of Hallie and his wife, but is possibly of his parent's. The clothing the subjects are wearing is incorrect for the time period Hallie would have been married. The subjects are more form the 1890-1900 period, and Leona Compton wasn't even born until 1907. Any information you might have would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Thank you for your kind words. If you notice that the stone is sunk a little bit. I didn't see a marker when I got there but noticed that the grass looked a little different in the shape of a groundstone. I started digging with my hands and found it about 4 inches below the surface. It could have been lost to us. Thanks for requesting it.
