JFJN I want to thank you so much for taking a photo of my relative's grave. I live very far away and would not have been able to see her grave if it were not for you. Do you live near the Jones Cemetery in Callahan? My relative Eunice had a daughter and son in law that I believe are buried beside her. There last name is Broome. (Mary Lizzie and Walter) If you ever go to that cemetery again I wish you could look and see if they are indeed buried there. They are not listed on findagrave but I feel certain they are there. Thanks so much for your work. Marye.

Lila and Lelia sisters??
Can you please tell me who the parents of Lila McMillan (# 37444844) . There is a Lelia McMillan (# 55458325) at this same Turner cemetery showing her parents are William McMillan and Sarah Alexander. I'm wondering if Lila was also their daughter??
Will appreciate your help!

RE: James H. Rumsey
It's a 'pressing' issue when unsourced information is pasted all over the internet as truth. Can you please explain why you think you have it right? As for the number of people on ancestry who have it on their trees; one person puts undocumented information on their tree, it is then copied by another and another, thus multiplying the number of times incorrect information is posted, and thus believed by those who do not have the time nor the inclination to do their own research. You asked me to prove that 'Henry Jackson' is not James H. Rumsey's middle names. I don't know that it isn't, I simply asked for your source. AND offered to show you my sources. Are you or are you not interested?

RE: James H. Rumsey
As a genealogist, I believe that you should use 'irrefutable' evidence that it IS his name. You should ask those who post it on Ancestry - with no sources whatsoever - where their evidence is. I'll be glad to send you all the census records, death certificate etc, that just has it as James H. Rumsey. Will that suffice?

RE: James H. Rumsey
Only in so much as he is a family member, and I've never, ever, seen anywhere that his name was middle name(s) was Henry Jackson. Why do you use it, if you don't know where it came from, and more importantly, it's not listed on the tombstone, which I would think, is exactly how I would think the name would be listed... to mirror the inscription. =)

Your thoughts?

James H. Rumsey
Can you please tell me what the source is for the two middle names, "Henry Jackson" of James Rumsey?

Memorial 37494178
Regarding memorial 37494178, Sarah Carter Connell, most of the kids listed as hers aren't. They belong with the first wife Willie Ann Elizabeth Shepard Connell. Willie died in 1899 and George F. Connell remarried in 1899. Even on the 1900 census it says they've been married 1 year, if you didn't have the marriage certificate. Kids after 1900=Sarah, kids before 1900=Willie Ann.

Photo for John Clark Ely (Memorial# 71536987)
I've added a nice photo of the Sultana the day prior to the explosion, showing how soldiers like him were crowded onto the ship. However, you will probably want to reorder the images to place it after the image of Liet. Ely and his grave. I'm just leaving a message so it doesn't go unnoticed by you. If not changed, I believe the image will show in the "honoring" box showing sponsored/famous memorials.
