I'm writing to let everyone know that I will try to get everything caught up in the next few months. We been dealing with the deaths of numerous family members in the last 18 months and I am fixing to have surgery in the next 2 weeks. I will work on this as I'm not allowed to do anything else. Thank You for your patience.

April 2, 2015, I have just completed all of the updates I have received. If I have missed any please let me know. Thank all of you for your patience.

Five years ago my husband got addicted to genealogy.

He started Civil War Re-enacting along with our son. They wanted to join Sons of the Confederate. You have to prove you are related to a Confederate soldier. So, he started researching and found he was related to Brig. General Holtzclaw.

After 2 years of hearing about his uncle and other family members, I decided to just check, real quick, and see what family members I had that were also in the Civil War.

And that folks, is how we got started doing genealogy.

This is now one of my favorite sites.

THANK YOU!!!

I try to always be polite and to say "Thank You" to all who have help me by putting my families grave information, pictures of their headstones and other information you have on them. I appreciate the people who have transferred my relatives to me.

As I do this, I know it takes a lot of time to physically go out, research and find the records, go to the sites, take the pictures, put them onto FAG. It also takes time to transfer Memorials.

If I have ever forgotten anyone, then "THANK YOU!!!!"

Please know that I only transfer to family members. There are those who just want to add to their numbers and aren't really serious about taking care of the memorials. If you are related then I have no problem transferring the memorial if I'm not related to the person.
