I am a retired wife, mother of one charming daughter, 3 outstanding grandchildren, one exceptional great-grandson and a beutiful great-granddaughter. Otherwise, my passion is genealogy. I totally enjoy internet searching for as many ancestors as I can find, learning about their lives and adding my findings to my RootsWeb file and Find A Grave.|

|Patricia Kinzie||RE: James Hunt's two wives|
My understanding: James Hunt married Elizabeth Bonsall on 10 Nov 1686 at Darby MM (Ancestry). Her maiden name was Bonsall, not Wood. Her mother was Mary Wood.
I have (with sources)Elizabeth Bonsall, d. of Richard Bonsall and Mary Wood, b. England (unknown), arrived PA with parents and siblings in 1682 and married James Hunt on 10 Nov 1686 Delaware Co, PA.
The siblings of Elizabeth Bonsall born in England were: Rachel, Obadiah and Abigail (listed in ship manifest).
Joseph was the son of Obadiah, sibling of Elizabeth, and he married Hannah Lea and their children were Sarah, Mary, Jane, Amy.
Do you have the England records that say Elizabeth Bonsall married a Joseph Bonsall and that she immigrated alone to America?
