Dana-- I just deleted my memorial# 154397402 that I added Oct 29, 2015.
In addition to Herman's obit, I found an article dated Aug 26, 1935 in the Hammond Times about his father Jacob, along with a little bio and a picture of him (Jacob) and his great-grandson, Donald Stark. So cool...don't you just love this stuff?
Thanks for your many contributions to this wonderful site!

A bit confusing, but I was able to "untangle" Herman! I index death records on familysearch.org, and recently indexed Lillian Rose's record. I added a memorial for her to Find A Grave since I didn't find one there.
I also try to link a person I add to at least a parent, spouse, etc., so they are not out there by themselves. I found husband Herman's obit in a newspaper through Ancestry.com: it said he would be buried in St.Germain in the spring (he died Jan 21st--wonder what they did with him til then?!!).
I see on your Find A Grave bio that you are researching the Schmal family---would you like to have Lillian's memorial transferred to you?

Hi Dana-I filled your request for Lillian Schmal's headstone picture. Although her husband, Herman J Schmal (1894-1971) is listed as being buried in St Germain cemetery in Wisconsin, there is a headstone for him to the left of Lillian's headstone. In addition there is another headstone for 'Mother' Ann M. Schmal (1921-1976) who, I assume would be the daughter-in-law of Herman and Lillian (Ray's wife?). I took pictures of all the headstones so if you create a page for Ann and agree that Herman is buried at St Adalbert's let me know and I'll post the pics...Mary

Thank you for your time and effort to photograph Fred and Ida Paramore's gravestones. Your work is most appreciated.
|Evie (Greer) Schipper||Thank you.|
Thank you for the photos of the 'unknown' family in Hebron Cemetery.
Rachael 'unknown' Memorial# 6714569 is actually Rachel Mushrush Leggett Memorial# 52132059
Thank you for creating her husband Jesse, Memorial# 154540129
I've sent you suggestions of their marriage and his birth and death dates.
They are no relation to me, I just want to help in any way I can.
