*Don't forget about Dolly*

There comes a time in life, when you walk away from all the drama and people who create it. You surround yourself with people who make you laugh, forget the bad, and focus on the good. So, love the people who treat you right. Think good thoughts for the ones who don't. Life is too short to be anything but happy. Falling down is part of LIFE... Getting back up is LIVING...

We live as long as we are remembered;
Those who have passed from this world,
die only when we whom they loved forget them...

"Do not regret growing older. It is a privilege denied to many."

Never, under any circumstances, take a sleeping pill and a laxative on the same night!

Family surnames that I am researching are:

Fathers side (PATERNAL);

Mothers side (MATERNAL);

Mother Mary, respect, honor, and cherish...

I have linked the mother and boys. I also added the information about their ages.
If you have the mother's obituary are you going to add it to her memorial?

Is there a memorial for their mother? If so, would you give me that information.

RE: Cook Links
Jurgen Kock was born in 1844 in Germany and died on 19 Dec 1927 while living with his son in Milwaukee. I found a comment in either the Terril Record or Spirit Lake Beacon that Julius, Fred, and George traveled to Sioux City for the funeral of their father. But don't know if Jurgen buried in Sioux City or Milwaukee. Their mother, Wiebke Kock, also born in 1844 in Germany, died in May 1921 in Sioux City. There was a funeral for her in Terril but no mention where she was buried.

Thanks for finding the memorial for John M Cook. I hadn't found his memorial. There is one more brother, Herman Kock. I have not been able to find any information on him. Last census was 1910 and he preceded Fred Cook's passing in 1938.

Thanks for your help. I'll leave a message with the memorial for Gustav Koch to see if that person can add the same links/info to his memorial.
Regards, Rod Cook

Clifford Leroy Fliss
Thank you so much for all of the work you have done to enter information for loved ones. The amount of work you have done is amazing.

Would you mind changing the birth date for Clifford Leroy Fliss? It should read 05 Sep 1911.

Thanks so much!

Willey research
Thanks for attaching Edwin and Sarah Willey to their son Joseph Willey.

Is that one of the Willey lines you are researching??? Willey's from Mullion, Cornwall England, then Grant/Lafayette Counties, Wisconsin then a few went to Carroll County, Iowa.

If so, we are cousins, be it very shirttail.

Edwin and his brother Josiah Willey would have been 1st cousins to my gggrandmother Mary Willey Thomas.

RE: Great news
That's awesome, Keith! Way to go! The stone's in great shape (minus the bird chit!). It's always shocking to see 100-year-old stones looking this good. Some of the stones at the vet cemetery here in Boise already look worse than this one, and they're only 3-4 years old. Pretty sad. Wonder what the secret to a quality stone was back then?

Thanks for the update! Keep up the great work! Hope you have a wonderful Christmas!

Memorial Transfer

Wondering if you would transfer the following to me?

They are all on the Hanson/Oleson line and are all related to me.

Thank you so much for all you do!
