*Don't forget about Dolly*

There comes a time in life, when you walk away from all the drama and people who create it. You surround yourself with people who make you laugh, forget the bad, and focus on the good. So, love the people who treat you right. Think good thoughts for the ones who don't. Life is too short to be anything but happy. Falling down is part of LIFE... Getting back up is LIVING...

We live as long as we are remembered;
Those who have passed from this world,
die only when we whom they loved forget them...

"Do not regret growing older. It is a privilege denied to many."

Superior Township Cemetery
To whomever is responsible for providing additional info for the occupants of Superior Township Cemetery I am truly grateful.
When I undertook the task of indexing that cemetery for the Spirit Lake Library reference project there were NO records available to go by for that cemetery. There was a rudimentary map drawn on the back of a cardboard box and that is all I had to go by.
I decided to include all the information on the headstones while realizing there were probably many people without a stone marker.
There is still no recorder for that cemetery today.

For all you hard work finding details I thank you very much,
Jan McDonald

Fliss family
Hi,
Are you related to the Fliss family or just set up their memorials? If you aren't related, would you be willing to transfer the Fliss memorials from Sharon Cemetery in Wilton, Ia and the Fliss memorials in Okoboji Cemetery in Arnolds Park, Iowa. They are my husband's family. Thank you

RE: Bessie Webb
I rechecked in my records that I was given to by Robert Walter Webb (My Uncle) and it states it was in 1915. But I will look for the news paper clipping because we could be wrong. Thank you for updating my grandparents memorials. I have been trying to get all the memorials done for my family members on my dad's & mother's sides before I get much older and forget all this stuff. Are you family from the Webb side?
Again Thank you, Mary

thank you for doing such a great job on my Grandma's memorial. Here is a little information on her you might like to add.

Bessie Pearl was the eighth child of nine born to Everett Edward Morse & Martha Ella Hodge. Bessie married her one and only love: Charles Edward Webb on March 1, 1915 at Milford, Dickinson County, Iowa.

Thank you for your help, Mary

Charles Edward Webb

You have done such a great job on my Grandfather's memorial. Here is some more information that you might like to had to his memorial;

Charles Edward was the fourth child of six children born to Charles Henry Webb & Lillian Lorette Evans. He was born and raised in the Spirit Lake, Dickinson County, Iowa area. Charles married his one and only love: Bessie Pearl Morse on March 1, 1915 at Milford, Dickinson County, Iowa.

In Nov. 1912, Charles accepted a position in the Herald newspaper office. In April 1914, he returned from New York where he learned how to operate a linotype (typesetting) machine. With new training, he started to work for the Spirit Lake Beacon office and worked there for many years. When Charles moved his family to Oregon he started to work for the Statesman Journal Newspaper Office in Salem, Marion County, Oregon until his retirement. Charles also worked on his own farm until his health would not allow him to do the work any longer. His passing was heart related.

Thank you for your help, Mary
