*Don't forget about Dolly*

There comes a time in life, when you walk away from all the drama and people who create it. You surround yourself with people who make you laugh, forget the bad, and focus on the good. So, love the people who treat you right. Think good thoughts for the ones who don't. Life is too short to be anything but happy. Falling down is part of LIFE... Getting back up is LIVING...

We live as long as we are remembered;
Those who have passed from this world,
die only when we whom they loved forget them...

"Do not regret growing older. It is a privilege denied to many."

Never, under any circumstances, take a sleeping pill and a laxative on the same night!

Henry Prust
I am researching the Prust family from Lake Belt Township, Martin County, Minnesota and I have a question about the Find A Grave info. Are the dates the actual ones on the headstone?
I have a record that says March 17, 1886 - your web site says 1887 and his draft registration card that he signed himself says 1885. I'm confused but I do think that what people paid to have etched in a stone is probably the most accurate.

Thanks, Jan McD

Thank you for the invaluable input!
Keith, thank you for providing me with the 2 obituary articles for Lula Chapman Grimm. I will, at my earliest convenience (I've got to perform the weekly drudgery of grocery shopping just now), compare the information contained in them with the source documentation that I utilized to write the biography about her short life. If there's anything that I can add to give her biography more of the "spirit" that was Lula I will or if there is any information that I missed that isn't contrary to actual sourced documentation that I have on her then I will, of course add or change what I have written as necessary. Thank you so much for sending the obituaries to me! If you are a direct line descendant within the '4 generations rule' of Find A Grave, I would be more than happy to transfer her memorial to you. I just filled a need by comparing her death certificate's information about her burial with the fact that there was no Find A Grave Memorial for her. I only wish that all of our ancestors' could be thus memorialized. Judi

N G House, Okoboji Cemetery, Dickinson Co IA
Thank you so much for this memorial for N(athaniel) G(airfield) House - it just now happened to pop up under his hints on Ancestry.com! Prior to this I did not know when he died or where he was buried. I also saw the mem for his sister Ronenda; didn't ever know her married name, Blasdell/Blaisdell, so was able to find out the name of her husband, Albert, and some add'l info about them. N G House was my 2nd great granduncle. I'm descended from his sister, Eunice Camilla House Olney, 1832-1919. As far as I can tell from census data, N G House's wife was named Alice M; in one census from WA Territory, where they lived with Nathaniel's mother in the mid-1880's, she appears as Mary A, so maybe her name was Alice Mary or Mary Alice. I don't know her maiden name. Am trying to find where in Pierce Co, WA Alice and her mother-in-law are buried. The mother was also named Eunice Camilla (1801-c 1887). The elder Eunice was the daughter of Rev War Patriot Nathaniel Garfield of MA, later NY. She moved with her husband Josiah and several adult children including N G from NY to northern IL and later to Clinton Co, IA; then to MN where she lived with Nenda and Albert Blasdell; then migrated w/N G & Alice to Tacoma, Pierce Co, WA Territory, where she died. -- Leah Olney Beckhoff

RE: Did you go back for seconds?
You just have to rub that 84 degrees in as we probably had a high of 20 with windchill of zero!!
Glad you had a nice Thanksgiving...we did food and family wise!!

RE: Hi Robert
Hi, Thanks for the information. It will help me with my request to obtain a photo. Hopefully someone will be willing to get a picture of her headstone now that I have her plot number.
