Bio and Links
Bio Photo Hi... I have been working on my family history since 1997. I got started trying to find my mom's biological parents. She was 74 years old at the time and was adopted when she was a baby. It took me a couple months but I finally found them. Since that time, my mom has been able to meet her two biological brothers and their families. One brother has since passed away. She has been real happy getting to know them. I was raised in upstate NY, my mom's biological family were from St. Lawrence Co. NY and some of them moved to Monroe Co, NY. That family is GUCK, PARO, WELLER. My dad was raised in central NY. He was raised by a step father named Preston and his mother was from Syracuse, maiden name of Weiss (Wise).

I have two daughters, was a medic in the Air Force, a nurse, masters in psychology and counseling. I've lived in eight state and now live in Arizona. Lots of neat old graves out here to explore.

By the way, your husband and I are 4th cousins once removed based on our common ancestor, Hugh Gregg b. 1760. I'd love to share some info. You can email me directly at or contact me via phone at (706) 836-1314. I'm excited to make this connection!

Thanks again!

RE: Rose Ann
I cut and pasted it below. It's actually wrong on Meeks Haley's memorial not Rose Ann's memorial.

Thanks again!

Marriage 1 Rose Ann W. GREGG b: 27 AUG 1825 in SC.
d: 3 JUL 1841 in Gallatin Co. IL

Thank you for your quick response. Yes, that is correct. However, if you look closely, whoever transcribed it on to Find A Grave put the marriage date as her death date. It just needs to be edited. The dates are right, just not "marriage" and "death".

RE: Weiss
Yup it is a large white stone with a cross on top. It's the one that I posted on Find A Grave. It's right on the corner of section A. That's where the 2 Mary's are buried. Last year, I took a picture of everybody there and posted them. Those 2 that you requested weren't listed on the stone and there was no name marker either. There is another lot of Weiss' in section A, but those are newer graves (1950's+). I took pictures of all those Weiss' also, just haven't had time to post them yet. I left the other Weiss' that you need requests for because they may be in that lot. Everyone on the corner lot had their stones posted. I'll see who I have left and get them posted.

I knew you had told me before that you were in the military. I assumed that was what the picture was. It's a cool pic!
