Born in Bakersfield California. Lived in Green Acres. After graduating from Bakersfield High School in 1964 I went to Utah, and worked as a construction service missionary for the The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, building new church's. I started basic training in January of 1966 at Fort Ord California and served in the US Army. August 1966 I went to Vietnam as a radio operator in the 507th Transportation Co. and spent most of my time in Na Trang. I attended Brigham Young University in 1969 where I met my wife Debra, she grew up in Burley Idaho where her dad had a farm and dairy. We have four children While at BYU I became interested in Genealogy and have been doing it off and on all these years. The internet has made it so much more fun! I love this site.
