My daughter and I went to Oak Bowery Cemetery yesterday. I'll try to get the photos up today.

H. Clark JR....
H. Clark JR and his sister Gladys are on the opposite sides of a memorial that the front says:
Dr. H. C. and M. A.
H. Clark JR needs to be McBee, H. Clark JR

Just took pictures of it today and it blew my mind.
Thanks in advance for your trouble.

RE: Memorial# 84933803 - Sophie Brown
I created a memorial for S.L. Brown and added a picture. If the mysterious Sophie Brown turns out to be the same as S.L. Brown, I will take it down and add the picture to Sophie. What is also interesting is that Jimmie Edwards (84998771) and S.L. Brown have stones next to each other and they look exactly the same in style. Don't know what that means.
Yes, I added about 200 photos for the Chattanooga cemetery with a few that were quite interesting. One, Marion B. Lattner (150280307) appears to be the oldest if the WPA records are correct on the date - 1832 - which is about five years before the cemetery was established.

Memorial# 84933803 - Sophie Brown
This memorial appears to also be in error. Check the photo and you can see that the dates are the same but the name is S.L. BROWN. The WPA records also note that S.L. Brown was the husband of Sophie. There is some sort of problem here but the main thing is the birth and death dates. I doubt that S.L. and Sophie were born and died on exactly the same days.

I am finding quite a few errors in the WPA listings.

Memorial# 84998771 - Emmie Edwards
The WPA records have this name sort of messed up. It should be JIMMIE Edwards. I have just added a photo to your memorial for your reference.

RE: tidwell
I believe I found that Tidwell Cem. Was it on Pine Hill Rd. off Deal Rd. off Spencer Mill Rd.? It was right next to the road. Had a new looking sign with fence and long red metal gate in front, back and one side. Well kept. Saw 2 stones laying against a tree. Couldn't read anything. Cemetery is near a trailer. Cemetery dimensions is about like a trailer. Thanks, Tim

RE: Cross-Smith
Morning Diane: Neither my husband nor I are related to the Cross family - as of right now - lol. New family names keep cropping into my research on the Worley/Gothards of Hamilton County. We were visting my in-laws' graves and when I was driving down the hill back to the entrance, all the orange flowers caught my eye. I left hubby in the car and got all the pics. I'm still learning my new camera so the colors are still off - spend more money and it doesn't seem to work as well at my old Kodak did:( Pam
