My full time hobby is reenacting and living history. Families I am most interested in are: Hooe, Samples, Brunson,Pridemore, Scritchfield, Westbrook, Jackson, Raum, Marye, Mitchella, Monroe, Joyce and Chamberlain.|
To all the Gravers out there contributing to find a Grave, thank you so very much! I can not tell you all how excited I get when I "find" a memorial with a beautifully rendered photo of the grave site. And even more exciting is being able to read the tombstones!
I have taken photos in cemeteries and matched them to memorials on the site. If there was no memorial, I created one. I am happy to transfer those to family, following Find a Grave guidelines if there is a conflict in requests. Most of the memorials I created are my own family members, and those I will hang on to.

Hi, I saw your request for a headstone photo of James Raum in Trinity Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Waldorf Maryland. I'll try to fulfill that for you, it's not too far from me. I also wanted to know if you're related to him. I'm friends with the Raums from Fort Washington, specifically Arthur Raums kids. Hope to hear from you soon!

I know your memorial is older. the other memorial of which I am now the owner has the children links already.
Do you want me to transfer to you so you can fix it.
I am flexible.
Let me know...

I totally understand! I have ran into that myself and it always leaves me in a delima as to what is the correct thing to do in these cases??

Hello. The footstone with Mother is in fact Josephine Hunter, wife of John C Hunter. Her name is not listed on the upright tombstone, but cemetery records confirm she is buried there. I can still remove the pictures if you wish.

Sorry that I did not get back to you sooner. I need the location for him in San Rafael. The cemetery where he is located. I think you said that he was in Mt. Tamalpais Cemetery. If you can give me the address I will go and check this out for you. It may not be until late next week.

Interesting, but not unheard-of state of affairs! The obit says what it says, but it may have been in error. Newspapers do make them! OR, he may have been moved to Mt. Tam.
A HOOE is inurned in the Old Mausoleum, Section 5, Column DN4, niche 407. No first name or other information.
That is the only Hooe the Marin County Genealogical Society has recorded.
Is this your family?

Hi, I'm was trying to take a photo of Bernard Roemer Hooe, but the cemetery, "Chapel of the Chimes Mausoleum, said the he is buried at Mt. Tamalpias Cemetery, in San Rafael, CA
That was the information she had on her card.
If you can get more information, I have no problem going to San Rafael, CA to take the photo for you, it is only 20 min. away. I'm sorry I could not get a photo for you. Just let me know.
