RE: Nathaniel Lindsay
Hi, Nathaniel was a brother of my 3 greats grandfather Hazael
Lindsay. I presume from your message that you meant to say
that you descend from their brother Orlando Dorsey Lindsay?
It's been a while, but I've tried twice to get Nathaniel attached
to his father's Find a Grave site. Next time I'll try Find a Grave
support, but I already have a backlog of about 60 corrections
and links which I've sent them going back to November. So it
may take a while. Nathaniel Lindsay's wife was Mary Clubb, a daughter of Elijah and Sarah (Wainscott) Clubb.

According to my Lindsay files, as someone who's researched
the family for over 35 years, in addition to my late father and
Kenneth Lindsay having shared information for years before
I started, the father of Orlando; Nathaniel; & Hazeal Lindsay,
and their other siblings, was called John Charles Lindsay. But several years ago I contacted the descendants of another son,
Joshua Lindsay, who believed John C Lindsay's middle name to have actually been Caleb. While I tend to think that Charles is more likely, there seem to be no documents dating to John C Lindsay's lifetime showing the middle name. So it seems best
for now just to list him at Find a Grave as John C Lindsay, and and avoid potential arguments

Hope this helps. There's lots of work to do on the Lindsays at
Find a Grave It's just a slow process, especially when working
on many other lines. Let me know what I can do to assist your
own research.
