Barron. WI is where I grew up. My husband, Jim, and I built a cabin in Springbrook in 1980 with the idea that we would make it our home after retirement. That's what we did and love this area. But we spend much of the summer in our camper at Washburn, WI on Lake Superior. I love touring on my 4-Wheeler there with my dog, PEPI, in her basket, loving the breeze in her face.|
I've been doing ancestry for several years. Mostly just feeling around to see what info there is out there. This has been added to my special site list. I'd like to do some photo work in my area, Washburn, Sawyer, Ashland and Bayfield Counties.WI.
I wish to give credit to Karen Duffy, for giving me many obituaries that I haven't had access to in Sawyer CO. And Karen Hill for being helpful in the same area.
Ancestry.com is where I gather the info I can about a person. I feel that everyone has a history and I like to enter a little bio for people that have no obituary available. (BUT I WELCOME OBITUARIES YOU SEND MY WAY). I'm hoping to also help ancestors who read them. Please ask for a transfer if you wish to add info that isn't available to me. You are welcome to use my photos for your family tree. I do appreciate any kind words if you wish to send any my way. NW
NOTE: IF YOU FIND A NUMBER BY A NAME, IT'S THE MEMORIAL NUMBER FOR THAT PERSON. THAT WAY I DON'T NEED TO BOTHER ANYONE UNNECESSARILY TO CONNECT ONE PERSON TO ANOTHER. YOU CAN JUST PUT THAT NUMBER ON THE SEARCH PAGE.

|Kent Salomon||RE: Birth info|
I am working on all 28,000 burials at Evergreen Cemetery so if the information shows as incomplete then most likely it is just a matter of time before I get back to the memorial to add all the information and obituaries if I have them.

Also forgot to tell you my Dads Mother is Karen Marie Blanding http://crestleaf.com/p/50baa0b9651a69e4d4040d23/karen-m-blanding
Hi Nancy I am a recent member and son to Edwin Rexford Blanding Just to inform you my father is not buried in Bone Lake Cemetery He was Cremated and my mother Sharon Blanding has his ashes.
Greetings Nancy - I noticed you have a listing for my father Peter Coello (# 116712154), but have his last name misspelled in the title and wondered if you could correct it. The current spelling is CoellA, the correct spelling is Coello. Thanks much, sherry

I got everything copied, so you can delete the duplicate. Thanks.

My mom and I spent the day in Barron today. I will be sending quite a few corrections over to you. Some directly from the stones, and others from death records at the courthouse. We have photos from a section at Wayside as well, which will be added as soon as possible. Hope you're having a good summer!

|Sandy Dorry||Please transfer|
My brother, John B Dorry # 18673785 is in your care. I would like to transfer it to my care if you don't mind.
Thank you, Sandy Dorry
My 4th great grandparents, Jean Baptiste Robidoux and Wabichechikwe lived on Madeleine Island. They had a daughter, Louise, born about 1824.
In 1836 Jean B. Robidoux married Marguerite Wechkin. I don't know if Marguerite Wechkin and Wabichechikwe are the same person.

In 1839 Francois Xavier Robidoux was born to Jean Baptiste Robidoux and Marguerite Wechkin.

A LIST OF THE MIXED BLOOD CHIPPEWA OF LAKE SUPERIOR, 1839: The 1839 Lake Superior half-breed census lists Jean Baptiste Robideaux for Xavier Robideaux, 1/2, 7 days, Lap., Lap., Adm.
Jean Baptiste Robidoux died in 1840 and was buried on 10 August 1840.
Per St. Joseph Mission Burial Records: Joan (Jean) Bapt. Robidoux, age 54 years; Parents: Blank; Priest: Frederic Baraga.
Some believe that Jean B. Robidoux is the brother to Ignace Robidoux, but Jean B. Robidoux, the brother to Ignace, died in 1871 in Canada.
Also, there is a Louise Rabideaux living at Bad River from about 1875 to 1903. She is not related to Ignace Robidoux.
Was wondering if you knew of this family or if you know anyone who will do research at Red Cliff or Bad River?
Thank you for any info you may have on my family, Clair
