Wm Allen`
Was reading your additions to Wm Allen's posting. The obit info posted in the photo field had already been posted to the biography field.

Please reference Find A Grave guidelines (text follows) and remove obit info from photo field at your earliest convenience.

"Can I add an obituary to my interment listing?

Please do NOT add newspaper article or obituary scans. The photo section is reserved for headstone/grave photos and possibly a portrait photo of the person, if that photo is owned by you. Do not copy and post photographs from obituary or funeral home websites (unless you personally are the photographer), as they are protected by copyright law. Find A Grave reserves the right to remove obituary notices and photographs from memorial records. Obituaries for "famous" individuals are usually written by newspaper staff and can not be posted to Find A Grave as the newspaper company owns that copyright. Please do not include website addresses that may be listed in the obituary as they usually expire within a year after the obituary is printed."

RE: Nellie Pardee memorial
Thanks so much ... I was really surprised to see her monument in Colma, knowing that her connection was East Bay. Was the family plot at Mountain View already full...?

Her and her parents' story is certainly full of many tangles like that... I hope she rests peacefully in Cypress Lawn.

Regards,
Elaine

John Hilton Sr.
Hello REHM.
I read your monument notes you posted with great interest on John Hilton Sr. This John Hilton is my 5-Great Grandfather so getting the information correct is important. You are correct that many trees do connect this John Hilton to other Hilton lines.
1) Have you learned anymore regarding his parents or his birth?
2) Have you learned the maiden name of his wife Sarah?
3) Where is the information to support his cause of death?

Thanks so much for your time and help on my research.

RE: Nancy
I did have Nancy's Mom and Dad's name but nothing more than that. Thank-you for that information. I will; add it to the family.

Thanks for the transfer. So your are related to her through the Godloves or the Thraps? How so. Have you ever done the DNA tests? I haven't had much success with them and finding family. A lot of times the matches trees are so small they don't tell a person what the linage is. I am very thankful for Find a Grave and everyone that has put time into it. It is where I started looking when I first got serious with genealogy after the internet made it easier. I still haven't figured out how to add siblings on Find a Grave. When I go to edit all it will bring up is spouse.
