Time doesn't allow for me to do all the research I'd like to but I do enjoy tracing my heritage. It's such a pleasure to find a link or a relative to share information with. These are the family names I look for:|
Reynolds, Barnett, Nelson, Inglet, Browder, and for my husband's family Ellis, Baugh, Hodges, Knight.

|Ralph Terry||Audie Cathey|
In getting Betty Cathey's memorials straightened out and learning if her ashes were buried at Pleasant Valley, I find that her husband, Audie Cathey was also cremated. I remember his memorial service well, as it was held across the street from my photography studio.
At any rate, there is a previous memorial for him at http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=18551438.
Keep up the good work ... It will all get done.
Thanks ... Ralph Terry

I noted your message on Michauel Bryan's profile page about Betty Cathey. He deleted his memorial as mine had an earlier number. Her memorial is 139514784. Betty was cremated, and I had her listed at such, with no place of burial. Michauel had her shown in Pleasant Valley Cemetery in his memorial. I asked if he had had information that her ashes were buried there, but he has not gotten back to me about that. Do you know if her ashes were buried there?
Thanks ... Ralph

Betty, my memorial was created after Ralph Terry's so I deleted it. Ralph's memorial for Betty Cathey is #139514784.

You're welcome, so sorry if there was a delay. I just saw the feature on our user page that shows us that we have edits waiting. I had over 30 of them to approve. I was so used to getting these in my email instead.

|Shirlie (Sheffield) Rust||Eddie (Thompson) Osborn|
Betty, Eddie's nickname was "Tommie". She was the sister to my aunt Ola Mae who married my dad's brother, Edward Sheffield, and sister to my uncle William Martin who married dad's sister, Lela Mae Sheffield. All I ever knew them as was Tommie and Bill. I recognized their picture on the "hints" on ancestry.com while updating information on dad's side (Sheffield) of the family. It's a small world. Who would have guessed, we were distantly related.
|Robert Sanders||Bertha Hughes Sanders & Jesse Lee Sanders|
Just found the photo you added to the records of Bertha Hughes Sanders and Jesse Lee Sanders and wanted to thank you for sharing that. I have several photos of Jesse and his brother and one with his wife from much earlier times, attached to my family tree on Ancestry if you haven't seen them.
Jesse was my 1st cousin once removed, my father's first cousin. I waited much too late in life to start looking for my family since now I usually only find graves. Do you have any other photos of Jesse and Bertha and their family you can share? And, any info on any of their descendents who might still be living and possibly interested in a new cousin?
My father was James Forrest Sanders, my grandfather, Forrest Ellis Sanders and Jesse's father, James Cleveland Sanders were brothers. I'm always looking for more information on the family, this past September we visited the family home in Mineral Springs Arkansas for the first time in my life. One of the few facts I knew about my Dad's family was when he told me about his cousin losing his sight, I've heard many stories about Jesse since then.
Thanks for sharing that wonderful photo
|John & Linda Russell||M.V. Inglet|
Betty – The reason I wanted to get back to you was that I had a different last name for M.V.'s mother. Since your initial e-mail I have found several different maiden names for her but based on a preponderance of evidence I settled on "Davis". My delay in getting back to you was that my computer crashed but luckily I had everything backed up so it just took time to get back online.
With regard to M.V.'s names I believe that his middle name was "Van Buren" because it was a common middle name in the family though some of the family abbreviated it "V" while others chose to abbreviate it "B". As for his first name I personally ask him what the initials meant and he would just smile and say "MV" that's all. We all thought he was embarrassed by his name but nobody could get it out of him. Through my research I found that in the 1920 census, when M.V. was 3 years and 10 months old, his parents listed him as "Marian V." The census is very clear so it is my conclusion that his full name is Marian Van Buren Inglet. If you have other evidence I would appreciate seeing it.
Regards - John
