Thank you
Thank you for the transfer.

Betty it's not you alone on this matter. I only hope that other contributors to find a grave will, at the least, wait for a period of time before constructing a memorial and allow a family member to write one. There are several contributors in this area, and nation wide, that have into the thousands of memorials to maintain and some of them are "closed" from making transfers and receiving communication. A person in north central Missouri has told me that THEY own the entire cemetery and do not make transfers, then when I write a duplicate memorial that is historically correct trouble starts. As in any endeavor, find a grave has evolved. It has evolved from a site to list famous persons only to a source of genealogy and a no cost tool to teach the younger generations the craft and passion of family history. Lastly, obits published in newspapers very often have errors, and as is in Doyle's case, the survivor list was not written correctly as per the wishes of the family. Please, let all of us have open communications with each other in a respectful polite manner. Perhaps we, in this area, need to construct a blog or some other means of communication to work together. Truly, Steve.

RE: Jud Lackey
Hi Betty, I seen that you had a dup but I also seen that you had several other Lackey's and thought you might like to have his as well, that is why I originally transferred the one I made to you. No problems with sharing, I do it quite well! 8)

June Castleberry
Here we go again. I waited to receive the Joplin Globe to make sure all data would be entered correctly for my Mother-in-Law, June Castleberry, and I find she has already been entered. Betty there is no way nearly 10,000 names can be properly maintained and taken care of. Now, if you or someone else, have the memorial for Mother June removed, as what happened the the memorial I wrote for her husband Doyle Castleberry, at the request of his daughter, I will be at your mercy to make comments, add other family memorials and allow the grandchildren and great grandchildren to look at their family tree. The McGuire and Castleberry families are vast and nation wide, it will be a huge and honorable task to properly maintain these families. The honorable thing to do would be is to turn Doyle and June to me so that I can maintain them and at sometime turn the two to an inspired grandchild.

Respectfully, Steve Maddox

RE: Wilma Scroggins dupe
Not related to this particular family, but there are Scroggins who are related to me in the same general area, so I've been trying to keep track of the ones from both groups.
