Unless the memorial I created is for a family member I am more than happy to do a transfer, just ask. My goal is to manage fewer memorials than I created :)

PLEASE do not attach photo's or copies of documents (ie:death certificates or military records). The purpose of Find A Grave is to document the resting place of an individual, it is not strictly a genealogy website. It is appropriate to state in the notes section, "According to a State death certificate ABC123, John Smith was born etc. etc."

Do Not Touch ------Please follow Find A Grave policy when capturing images to post here, whether on my memorials or others. You can read the FAQ's to learn all about it but it boils down to this ….If you did not purchase the monument it is not yours….Do Not Touch It… Do not put chalk, flour, shaving cream, or any other concoction you can think of on it. These substances do irreparable harm, especially to the precious old ones.

PLEASE make edit requests using the correct edit tab (ie:put death dates in the box marked Birth/Death NOT the "Suggest a Correction" box. I get waaaay too much email, and clicking "accept" is lots easier and more foolproof than clicking, typing, searching, etc.

Show me the manner in which a nation cares for its dead, and I will measure with mathematical exactness the tender mercies of its people, their respect for the laws of the land and their loyalty to high ideals." ~William Gladstone

No man is an island, entire of itself; every man is a piece of the continent, a part of the main; if a clod be washed away by the sea, Europe is the less, as well as if a promontory were, as well as if a manor of thy friend's or of thine own were; any man's death diminishes me, because I am involved in mankind, and therefore never send to know for whom the bell tolls; it tolls for thee. ~John Donne, "Devotions Upon Emergent Occasions"
