I became interested in genealogy about 15 years ago, I have researched family lines of Pritchett, Stotts, Glasgo, Harrel, Harris, Stiles, McElroy, Milacek, Hambek, Bartek, and Policky. |
Memorials I add come primarily from transcribing and photographing the cemetery and some from obituaries, funeral cards, death certificates and/or photographing headstones here and there. I have permission to post obituaries from the Oakland Independent; Oakland, NE and Spencer Advocate; Spencer, NE to findagrave, if you are duplicating anything from my memorials to post on another online site (e.g. ancestry.com), please seek permission from author/publisher.
My tombstone photos can be used for whatever genealogical purpose that a descendent sees fit. A number of my photos were taken many years ago, if a better photo is added to a memorial, please let me know so I can delete mine and save space.
Please understand that if I cannot find documentation to confirm an edit suggestion you send to me, I will ask for your source. If one is unavailable, the edit suggestion will be regretfully declined but I will note your information in the bio if you wish.

You are very welcome. That cemetery is in a Nat'l Forest and very little upkeep is done. It is very natural. I would guess you could get better photos in the late fall after the vegetation dies back a bit.

I have transferred Keith to your care. I'm so glad to give family their loved ones memorials.
|Rita Sporrer||Mary Christina Ernst Stephen|
I have found that my great aunt Mary Christina Ernst Stephen has two memorials. I believe that the first record is considered to be the one to remain. Unfortunately, the second record is the one that I did all the links to, so until it is deleted, I am going to have duplicate links. I am linking everyone to the first memorial, and many of the people that I am linking had memorials created by you. So if you are wondering what is going on, that is what it is about. Thank you.

Thank you for transferring my Grandpa's page to me!

Hi, I so appreciate the work you have done!
Alfred and Amanda Beck are my great grandparents. The picture that you have added to their page, appears to be from the announcement in the newspaper, announcing their 60th anniversay. I have my grandmother's photo albums and have a much better quality photo, and I could replace it, with your permission. Thank you, Marilyn

Edward Blevins is my grandfather.
Edward was his given name, Ned a nick name, but the one he went by most of the time.
I love that a page has been created in his honor, but am wondering if you would please transfer his memorial page to me?
Thank you so much, Marilyn
Just came across your memorial for Craig...what a great photo. Such a nice guy, he is terribly missed.

Hi Jeanne. I've been indexing/transcribing WWII Draft Registration cards for familysearch and, when I have time, I check on Find A Grave to see if I can provide additional information from these original records. The suggested updates are from his Reg Card. I've already turned those records back to familysearch otherwise I could provide you with a snip of the image. It takes a while for the indexed images get be posted to the familysearch.org site but hopefully they'll be available in the next month or so.
Hope this helps.

|Carman DM||Saint Joseph cemetery, Agnew|
Jeanne, did you photograph all the stones in the Agnew cemetery? I had a request for one of Catherine Whitehorn Anderson. I checked online and it looked to me like most of the stones had been photographed so I didn't want to make a road trip if there is no stone. Thanks, Carman
