We live in Taunton Mass between Boston and Cape Cod. We are very eager to help anyone we can. Please leave a public message, it helps me keep track of who I helped and a quick reminder who to contact if I find more of the surname in the cemetery. We will travel to Rhode Island also. I am currently working on adding cemeterys here in Taunton and adding pictures.|
See: Hathaway Burying Ground - Gilbert Burial Ground - Cooper Burying Ground - Sandy Hill Cemetery and the (NEW) Saint Francis Cemetery here. I just added the Old Episcopal Burying Ground too. Please use my photos anyway you can.
Family trees, personal pictures, etc. I am just happy to get the photos out for many generations to enjoy. The more people who see my Find A Grave photos, the happier I am. Some day, I will be one of them.

Thank you again! There obviously is no hurry in this. It looks like the stone was WELL covered up!
|Ray Malenfant||Memorial #31840141|
Hello again...I wonder if there is any possibility of uncovering more of this stone. I am somewhat sure (but know to question everything!) that he is my ancestor, specifically the father of Leonard Hathaway of memorial #96842324. If so, I believe his dates are 1745-1819. Thanks for any help on this.

Chris and Susanne,
I am aware that my Great, Great Grandparents James (1812- Jan 1876) and Catherine (Lang) McGowan(4 June 1815 - 238 Jan 1864) were buried at Fr Wilson Cemetery and may have been reintered at St Francis cemetery where some of their children are buried, or was told they may still be there at Fr Wilson. Are there any records to determine what happened to them? I have been unable to find there graves anywhere in Bristol Co. It appears they lived in Taunton all of their lives after immigrating in 1840.
Also my other GG Grandfather Dennis McMurray(McMurry) (1812-1864) lived in Taunton and died in Milford on 9 May 1864 of Exhaustion or Insanity per the records, but have not found where he was buried. One record indicated he was buried in Milford but have not been able to find any proof. Dennis and Mary's first born was Francis Joseph McMurray who married Margaret McGowan in Taunton 14 May 1857. Would you have any ideas where else to go? I am a Find A Grave contributor, live in Salina, Ks so you can contact me through Find A Grave or my email is email@example.com. Thank you. Dennis

Hi, If you know how to copy and paste then it's easy to put it on the page. Highlight obit from my message and click copy when box drops down , then go to memorial page and open up the bio dialog and put curser on the top of the page and right click on paste .
