Hi, I started doing my genealogy for the Solem family and love it. I have found ancestors in Norway back to 1506 and living relatives in Norway. This is a great way to find where you came from and also find descendants. I live on the original Solem farm which we are getting our 125th certificate. Need help email me.|

I don't have a photo of him anywhere in Clay or Yankton Co. (or the state) but it may be that he has no stone. Couldn't find an obit either.

it is one of my pet peeves that people do not search before they make a memorial and don't find one that is in cyber, it is nice to be told what cemetery someone is in and then I can move it but it is our responsibility as as memorial creators to find out there is not another one even in cyber before we make one, mistakes are made sometimes they don't show up in a search for some reason too. I always want to know where they are suppose to be!

I have a copy of the Lands Cemetery census and I am not showing a Charles Chapman being interred there.
Thank you Kathy for finding my aunt alvina...it was very interesting the things we have heard but never know where she was buried...yes she is the daughter of Bert & Edna Homer.I am not sure how to add to the list of Alvinia's siblings:
Brother-Kenith Gordon Homer- dob Nov. 22,1938
dod July 2,2014
if you could please add this information i would appreciate it.
are you related to the Homer's? I am having trouble finding more information on Bert Homer...I found all kinds of things on Edna Mae French Homer.
if you got any more information, thanks

Thanks so much. It was very kind of you. I will try and get my wife to add photos of Ruth.Ruth was my wife's Aunt and she grew up knowing her and I think she may have some pictures. My wife added the pictures of Gene to his site and to his brother Jim's site who was my wife's father. We have never been to S. Dakota but we hear it's very pretty and we hope to get there some day. Again thanks so much for your efforts. Sincerely, Ed

There is already a listing for Ruth's husband Gene Taylor. He is my wife's uncle. He is not buried in South Dakota. Please attach the correct listing 87336668 to Ruth and delete the one you created. Thank you.

|Megan S.||Norman Henry Peterson|
I believe Norman Henry Peterson (#57254753) is a duplicate memorial of Norman Henry Washburn (#41888140). Their birth and death dates are identical, and his headstone and the Petersons' are identical in make--but the second memorial seems the more accurate. Feel free to let me know if I am wrong.

You are very welcome for the photo. I am still strolling through the cemeteries and getting pictures when I can.
