Hi, I started doing my genealogy for the Solem family and love it. I have found ancestors in Norway back to 1506 and living relatives in Norway. This is a great way to find where you came from and also find descendants. I live on the original Solem farm which we are getting our 125th certificate. Need help email me.|

Unsure what is going on with #102856601....but when I added the service info it says he was buried
in Bluffview ..... so let me know what is going on
Thank-you so much for the information on Shirley (obit etc).I appreciate it,I really do.
I hadn't got that far to see if her obit had been posted yet.
I did add a memorial for her husband Daryle as I couldn't find one anywhere for him & linked them.
Do you by any chance know where she is going to be laid to rest as neither of their obits mention a cemetery....
Again...thank-you for all of your help :-)

I do have his death certificate but I've boxed up much of my genealogy stuff. Will go through it again soon.
He died in Waukeegan, Illinois and his death certificate says he was buried in the Yankton Town Cemetery. My uncle, Ralph Dimick, and I prowled and prowled and never found his grave there. Then I was on Find A Grave in Bluff View and just for grins put his name in. I was stunned when it came back.
I do know he was one of the first photographers in the eastern part of the Dakota Territory and that his sister was my great great grandmother. Calista Butler.
Thanks for your rapid response.

Thank you for the work you have done for Bluff View Cemetery. Are you related to Henry Butler? He was my great great grandmother's brother. Her name was Calista Butler and his father was Carlos Dimick. Butler was a Civil War veteran who fought with the Co. "D", 35th Iowa Infantry. His best friend was my great grandfather, Horace Edwin Dimick, who was in the same Company "D" as Henry Butler.
Butler is in an unmarked grave. I learned this just this week. I know where the grave is now and I will update the location from my notes.

You're very welcome for the Houck marker pictures!
No, I don't know Mary Phea - she has been my nemesis since I started doing find a grave because she did a lot of the cemeteries near me and won't link or add pertinent information such as date of death if she made the memorial before the person died. But bless her, she did do a lot of memorials for find a grave. Personally I think the maintenance on the memorials is as important as the initial memorial.
High Plains :)
Thank you for transferring the Brown memorials to me. I really appreciate it.
