I didn't contact the creator of the page. I emailed someone who left a tribute saying something like thank you for the genes. She didn't respond back but her profile page said she would like to hear from people who believed Mary Leffingwell was Native American. I think I know where the White came from, but I would rather email you privately about that. Thank you for answering back. Barb

Do you know why Mary Leffingwell, wife of Lt. Samuel, is listed as Mary Singing Lark White Leffingwell? Where did the info 'Singing Lark' come from? I personally believe she was Native American and not a White but can't prove it yet. Working on it. Thanks

Hi, I sent you a message a bit ago, but I think perhaps it was premature. Family notes place Sally Laury Meeker as being born in Fairfield Co, Connecticut, even though she replied with different answers on different Census records. However, I know she was related to Philo Atwell, and I just saw where he consistently answered Vermont. Do you have more information on Sally Laury's nativity?

I have no further info on Samuel Way. The family links were all sent to me to add, so you may know better than I do regarding his wife.

Jody, I just want to make sure that you are clear. These folks are buried there according to cemetery records. Just no headstones.
|Ken Rouston||Wall lot @Woodmere|
Jody, I was back @ Woodmere last week. I was unable to locate any markers upon lot 1059/1060. We probed deeply into the soil but found nothing. Apparently, there are no headstones for any of those who are buried on the lot.
|Ken Rouston||RE: Wall|
Jody, I have my notes from my last visit to Woodmere and I did look for the Wall grave markers. No luck and I did locate some markers on a lot directly adjacent to lot 1060. So I am pretty certain that I was in the right spot. When I go back to Woodmere, in Sept, I will look again because I will be searching for markers on another lot that is only two lots away. Do you have any info that indicates that markers are indeed on the site? Lots of the markers are below the surface at Woodmere and they can be hard to locate - so I could have missed finding them especially since they are upon two lots. If you are confident that markers were placed - I will see what I can find by probing deeper.

Thanks for checking! :-)

|EveyBl||David C. Atwell|
Hello, I noticed that you added the memorials for Philo and Laury Atwell to the Pioneer Cemetery. Their son David was also a pioneer in Lapeer, and I cannot find his burial location. Is he also in the Pioneer Cemetery?
