RE: Wall lot @Woodmere
Jody, I just want to make sure that you are clear. These folks are buried there according to cemetery records. Just no headstones.

Wall lot @Woodmere
Jody, I was back @ Woodmere last week. I was unable to locate any markers upon lot 1059/1060. We probed deeply into the soil but found nothing. Apparently, there are no headstones for any of those who are buried on the lot.

RE: Wall
Jody, I have my notes from my last visit to Woodmere and I did look for the Wall grave markers. No luck and I did locate some markers on a lot directly adjacent to lot 1060. So I am pretty certain that I was in the right spot. When I go back to Woodmere, in Sept, I will look again because I will be searching for markers on another lot that is only two lots away. Do you have any info that indicates that markers are indeed on the site? Lots of the markers are below the surface at Woodmere and they can be hard to locate - so I could have missed finding them especially since they are upon two lots. If you are confident that markers were placed - I will see what I can find by probing deeper.

David C. Atwell
Hello, I noticed that you added the memorials for Philo and Laury Atwell to the Pioneer Cemetery. Their son David was also a pioneer in Lapeer, and I cannot find his burial location. Is he also in the Pioneer Cemetery?

Samuel Gooden
The strangest thing has happened. I was researching Samuel Smith Gooden in Ancestry.com and it gave me this grave site. But, the death date given in the record on ancestry.com says he died on 6 Feb 1876. I submitted an edit to you based on this information, but as I hit the submit button I noticed that the Samuel Gooden on the gravestone died in 1915. Please disregard my changes.

Prudence Champlin
Greetings, Jody!

Thanks for your message. I've revised Prudence's memorial page to include her maiden name and number of children, crediting you in the "Notes" section as the source of this infor. (I'd alresady stated that she was the wife of Samuel Champlin.)
As noted on my member page, I don't transfer pre-1900 burials. Please consider using the "Virtual Cemetery" feature to include Prudence in an ancestral or other group. I will be happy to make further updates as well.

Best regards,
Nikita

George Denison
Hi--on George Denison's memorial page you put a photo of a monument with his name and that of his wife Ann; it is a modern marker. Where is this marker located? Is it in Stonington? Thanks.--Stan Arnold

RE: 91518595
Hi: Adolph C. Dittmer was married to two women named Auguste. After Auguste Emma Weitschat Dittmer died in 1918, he married Auguste Radusch Sepull (widow of Gustave E) on October 28, 1920 in Detroit. When Adolph died, he was buried with "Emma" in Section B, Lots 316, 317. When Auguste Radusch Sepull Dittmer died in 1964, she was buried with her first husband Gustave E. Sepull. The Auguste who appears in the 1940 census is his second wife. I hope this helps...
