How are things after the tornadoes!
How are you doing? We heard that Oklahoma had some severe storms recently with several tornados and flooding! Hope your area of Oklahoma wasn't hit to hard.

RE: Hebert Sears
Glad I was able to add the photos to Herbert's memorial and that of his wife. I am still working on the La Plata cemetery and have taken a lot of photos but still a ways to go. I am glad you got some much needed rain where you live but we are hoping for several weeks of dry weather so we can get our crops planted. Too much rain here! A few farmers have gotten some corn planted but they have a lot more acres to do they we have. It has also been very cold and we had to cover tomatoe, cabbage & pepper plants with cans and blankets a couple of nights because of the cold temperatures. They made it along with the other garden vegatables (peas, onions, etc.) that were already up! We have lots of newborn calves so far this year. Will soon be getting the cows in and moving them to their summer pasture. I just love seeing the little calves sleeping in a small group or running through the fields.

Take care and hope you get more rain out your way.

RE: Cary Harrison Cloyd 49415930
Cary was my great-great-great grandfather. His son, David Tilford Cloyd was my great-great grandfather. David's son, Hiram B. Cloyd was my great-grandfather and his daughter, Effie Jane Cloyd Murphy was my grandmother.

Thanks,

Sears family
Hi Larry, yes you did answer me and you were so very nice to send me the Sears family tree. I am the one whose Grandma Mary Henery (Sears) Love follows directly back the same as your Grandma Ella. Joseph and Mary (Nin) Sears are your sixth and my seventh great grandparents. We just follow up through the tree from a different son.

Crown Hill. Larry , do you know if Roy Fox in Crown Hill is Leroy W Fox, once married to Hazel Hoofer and father of Melda, Letha, and Henry? I have traced him through the 1940 census. He remained in Comanche County throughout that time.
