Imogene Brumbaugh
I think your entry Imogene Brumbaugh 46613504 in Ross Cemetery should be wife of William C. "Buddy" Brumbaugh and not William Carl's wife.
Buddy's obit is in Abilene reporter today and lists her as his wife. According to the paper it lists William Carl as his dad and Maunie Syble Work Brumbaugh as his mother, however I cannot find her listed in Find A Grave. Maybe you can figure it out.
Thanks, Jim

RE: Myra E. Lockhart Bunch #46559618
Thank you so much for taking the time to link everyone. That is cool that you are related to the Straleys. I have a daughter that lives in San Antonio so we have gone to the Straley Cemetery a few times. I am related to John Patterson who built the Patterson House there in Adamsville. Small world

Ida Mae Brown
Do you have any information about Ida Mae Brown having a husband by the name of Willard Russell Brown? She died some time after he did and for Willard's grave it only lists his living wife by the name of Tillie. Maybe Ida Mae is not listed as a wife because she had died so many years before him. Hope you can help me out.

I noticed you posted info from the Thurmond Cemetery in Gates, TN. I was wondering if you have a connection with the Thurmonds or if you know about their history. Please contact me.

Roy Clinton Baines
Hello James;
I have a couple of questions.
My great aunt Henrieta May Baines was married to Harry Ray Durham in Texas. Could there be a Durham connection to your Durham?
You have a Mem. on find a grave Roy Clinton Baines in one cem. but if you click on his wife she shows up in a different cem.
On that mem. page there is a picture of her tomb stone showing Roy buried next to her. This leads to more questions.
1 Is your mem. page in error?
2 Is tombstone in error or maybe made then he died later and buried in your cem.?
3 Is there two Roy Clinton Baines? If this is correct then he is connected to the wrong spouse.
Thx Clif cliftoncrump@yahoo.com

John G. West
West Cemetery, Chatham C., NC
Ignatius West b.1750 d. 1831 is believed to be buried in this cemetery and is listed without a marker in this cemetery. Many of his children are buried here on what is believed to have been his land. Some Durham's married into this West family. My direct ancestor (Thomas West, Jr.) was the brother of Ignatius. Thomas West, Sr. is their father. A grandson Abram West of Ignatius removed to Hendricks County, Indiana just west of Indianapolis. Thomas West, Jr. left Chatham Co about 1808 +/- a few years and settled in Christian Co., NC. I live in Evansville, IN on the Ohio River about 1/2 way between Hendricks and Christian Co.

I wanted to make contact with you to say thanks for getting all of the info on this West Family Cemetery on Find-A-Grave with the great photos of the grave markers. Do you have any additional info on the West/Durham families that may be of help in researching the origins of the West family? We believe these West's came from Caroline Co., VA or a nearby county in the early to mid-1700's. Thanks for all of the work you do to help others via Find-A-Grave.

Live Oak Cemetery McCulloch Co., Emma Mayfield
Hello My Durham, I was pleased to see a posting for Emma May Mayfield in McCulloch Co. In the Live Oak Cemetery. Find A Grave 69714397 It does not show a headstone and I was wondering where you got this information. I have been looking for a infant who died in either Brady Tx, or San Saba, Tx. She would possibly be my Father's sister who died in Infancy. I am curious as to who her parents were.
If you can help me I would greatly appreciate it. You can reach me here or at suzieq_1949@yahoo.com. Thank you for any additional information you might could give me.

unknown dates
hello james im nicole ellis granddaughter of the late terry ellis and margaret ellis. i noticed on a few of the dates you put unknown because only one date. i work at a cemetary here in wichita falls and i have learned that if there is only one date and it is a single marker by its self the reason it only has one date is because the infant died or didnt make it threw child birth and the family only puts one date on there. if you ever have any questions on any thing about cemetaries dont hesitate to ask.
have a nice day and god bless nicole ellis.
