What you can learn in a cemetery is unbelievable. It is history at your finger tips. I started doing my family tree and have others interested in finding their family ancestors. I enjoy it. I work 8-4 but after that I go to the cemeteries to look for family.
RE: Date of Birth and Death Glad you liked it. I am brand new at this and having so much enjoyment in accomplishing a site. I am working on one for my Mom now..I am reaching a level of peace with them both now because of this and my doing my family tree. I was not raised by them and have no record of my birth except in a family bible so it has been hard to obtain a lot of information on me. My aunt and uncle who raised me from 2 weeks old to 18 are both gone now and all family photos and records they had are long gone to her family in Florida and I have no clue as how to contact them. But I am trudging along, I want to get as much heritage together as I can to pass on the the family that is still here and for their siblings and children, I feel a family should know about their heritage so I want them to have something to continue on with. I would like to ask you a question if I may? My daughter passed away in Aug 22, 1960 and was buried in Hopewell Cemetery in Allen County, Scottsville, Kentucky I put this all in the cemetery lookup but to no avail..I found my mother in law's grave and 2 of her sons, but my husband passed too and am sure she would have buried him there too but no record. I was there when my daughter was buried unless I have the wrong place but it also was in the paper listed as this tool. What am I doing wrong? Lea
RE: Date of Birth and Death Thank you. I have finished bringing it up to date and added a lot on the bio. Hope you can still see it and see what I added to your excellent work. This means more than to more than you'll ever know. My father and I were estranged (my part mostly) and I never got to make peace with him now this is my way of saying I forgive him and all is at peace now. Thank you ever so much for giving me this opportunity and keep up your wonderful work. You will get more from it than you can ever imagine. Lea
Date of Birth and Death First of all I want to thank you for posting my father's gravesite. I added his picture today. I am his daughter Nathalia and my email is firstname.lastname@example.org in case you need to get hold of me. Any way will you put the Birth and Death date on the site? I will be grateful if you would do this. Again thank you for your kindness in doing such a huge thing for someone you do not know (me). Sincerely, Lea aka Nathalia Boyle.
