I am the grand-daughter of Valley Virginia Dean Parsons. I started out on this site looking for any members of the Dean family but was unable to find any of them. After researching I was able to find the list of The Dean Family Cemetery. My grandmother's roots meant a lot to her and I only felt it right to do what I could to help preserve their memory.

A special thank you to Glorida Dean, author of, The Dean Mountain Story. I have cherished this book since I was a young girl.
