|HI, I AM 62 RETIRED,AND AN AVID GENEALOGIST.I JUST STARTED LOOKING FOR REQUESTS FOR TOMBSTONE PICTURES,AND REALLY ENJOY THE SEARCH.FAMILY HISTORY IS VERY IMPORTANT TO ME,AND IF BY TAKING PICTURES,I CAN IN SOME WAY SAVE A LITTLE PART OF PEOPLE'S HISTORY,THEN I FEEL LIKE I'VE ACCOMPLISHED SOMETHING. I LIVE IN ODESSA,TEXAS,AND WILL GLADLY CHECK OUT CEMETERIES WITHIN A 200 MILE RADIUS, AND FARTHER IF I CAN. IF I HAVE MADE A MISTAKE OR IF I LIST SOMEONE THAT YOU WANT TRANSFERRED ,LET ME KNOW.|
FEEL FREE TO USE MY PHOTO'S;JUST PLEASE GIVE ME CREDIT FOR TAKING THEM OR OWNING THEM.-- I have the only photo of one of my great grandmother's on here. Someone added it to their family tree on Ancestry.com with no mention of where they got it,or what family link it came from. Now it's being added from one tree to another,without anyone being aware of our link into that family.I don't think that is right.
If anyone comes across "any" family of theirs I've listed and you would like to manage their memorial's,just let me know.I don't do this to build up numbers,but to try and save as much family history on these stones as I can.It doesn't matter to me how close or how far apart the family link may be.

I apologize for the delay in getting back to you. Thank you so much for the management for Loretta. I really don't need to manage her husband. I appreciate your work, without which I wouldn't have found Loretta.
I thought I corresponded with you through email, but I can't find it in my files. I have been having computer problems and I lost some things. If I have spoken to you, I am sorry for the repeat, but I would rather respond twice than not at all. :-)

You're welcome! If you ever want to read about any towns in Texas, look up old schools, courthouses, etc., I recommend looking at texasescapes.com. Lots of info.

I didn't mean to remove the husband. It was a technical difficulty. Sorry for the inconvenience!
|John Miller||Scott Barnard|
Per your comment on Scott Barnard's FG 39975750, the town you cannot find is Smiths Mill, Chautauqua Co, NY. Scott's sister is buried there, FG # 39872399

When we do a search for nicknames in maiden name field these show up. If you go to edit the name, the maiden name field will show blank and nickname field is empty. Not sure why all these happened but most of the ones we have seen were entered between 2005 to 2009. Thanks for your help.
|Chris West||RE: une Seabolt & Eusebio Rodriguez|
The maiden names / nicknames I'm working on are a complex problem. They look almost right at first, but if you look closely, the problem ones are all in italics, which puts them in the maiden name field. But when anyone goes into the name edit field, the " makes the name disappear, which is really confusing unless they know how the " acts, which is badly.
It's so confusing, I've been thinking about making a video explaining it.
