Charlie Massey
Massey Cemetery
Hi Pamela,
I've search all my records on the Masseys and I can't find any of Calvin Massey relatives. I don't know where he comes in.

I've been searching for burial place of Mary Polly Brown Massey. She was the wife of Nathan Massey who is buried at Massey-Liles Cemetery. Let me know if you know where she is buried.

I recently found the headstone for Parada (you have her name with two rr) Pinson Massey. Where was her husband (James Rice Massey) buried. He died Jan. 13, 1911. He may have been buried by his first wife, Maggie Rhodes.

RE: Which name is correct?
Pamela,
The Anne I am talking about is the same Ann that you are related to, Anne Morris. I am pretty sure it's Ann with an E.

I assume that you tried Google or ancestry.com(they allow you a month for free). I just did that. I got a lot of info from their site then didn't sign up at the end of the month as I can't afford the fee. However, I have found a lot of info that wasn't on ancestry.com through Google.

Lynn Huidekoper
Which name is correct?
Pamela,
Hello, I am Lynn Huidekoper, a descendant of Harm Jan Huidekoper, and I have been doing extensive research on the Huidekoper family both here and in Holland. Many years ago I made handmade charts that go back to the 1400's. I can't believe how much work I did back then!! Before the Internet, etc.

I have more time now to devote to updating my files. When I made the original chart for Rush Rhees Shippen Huidekoper I have his wife's name as Anne not Anna. I notice in the find-a-grave page on her her name spelt both ways(one in the title and the other in the text). Do you know which it is?

Are you related to the Huidekopers and if so, who?
About 8 years ago or so I discovered Huidekoper descendants who mainly live in Montana and Calif. They are descended from Harm Jan's half-brother, Jan, who only visited the US and returned to Holland. He was a friend of the King of the Natherlands. Harm Jan has quite a bio himself. My family and others have portraits of him in our homes. I look forward to hearing from you! Lynn

RE: Sarah Simons
Pamela, I realized after I sent my first message about Sarah Baker Simons that she was already listed in the McLemoresville Cemetery, so I have deleted my memorial for her. She is buried next to her husband, John. There was a problem because of the different spellings for their surname...Simons, Simmons etc.

I created a memorial for John's wife, Sarah, and would love to transfer it over to you. Just request using the edit tab on Sarah's memorial.

RE: S. Anderson Compton in Chapel Hill Cemetery
Thank you for the information on Salina Anderson Compton. I have added it to her memorial. Do you also have her husband's name, and marriage date? If so, I will be happy to add that info. Best to you, Patricia

Charlie Massey
Massey Family Cemetery
Hi Pamela
Glad to hear from you. I don't know why there are two links to Massey Family Cemeteries. There is only one site. I didn't see Thomas H. Massey and David J. Massey at Massey-Liles Cemetery. I noticed that Ken Ellis (he has had a stroke and not on the Internet now.) has the same rock at two different people. Contact me anytime you want to. My eyes want let me do much picture taking now. Hope you are doing fine.
