Hello! Welcome to our profile here at Find A Grave! We live on a family farm in Northeast Missouri near where our ancestors migrated back in the 1860's and 1870's.
We enjoy genealogy and visiting sites from the past, including our local cemeteries where it seems everyone is related:)
The memorials that we have posted here are for family, neighbors, and friends. If you can add anything to any of the sites, like more specific information, or family rememberences, please let us know and we'll be glad to post the information.
If there is a memorial that we have added that is in your direct family line, we'd be glad to transfer the memorial to you so that you may honor your family member as you wish.
Finally, we love to see pictures on the memorials! Please feel free to add anything that you have, or let us know where we can find some to add ourselves.
Frances Annie is my wife's Great Grandmother. I inherited the job of Family Historian after the passing of my wife's Mom, Gert Bamsey La Rose. She had worked on the Davidson genealogy with Rev. David Davidson. We're still in touch with descendants in Alberta, and Ontario. If you're on Ancestry, my ID is joe42271, and the tree is called "Master". It's the combined lines of our ancestors, now exceeding 4000 individuals.
RE: Dunham Family Thank you. No, I do not know where they are buried . Thank you for adding them to the memorials so they are not just "lost". They lived in Taylor & Barbour Counties then just "disappeared".
Elizabeth Dunham Golden # 73729761 Hi, One last note about this family. Elizabeth evidently had 3 husbands. There is a 10 Feb 1821 Harrison Co, WV Marriage Bond for Elizabeth Dunham and Robert Hustead. Jacob is on the bond and it states that Elizabeth is his daughter. Not sure if they actually married since she is called Dunham on her 1824 bond to Bennett but it may be worth noting. (Robert Hustead married Elizabeth Corbin in 1828). Thanks.
Mary Helen Foster Dunham # 73732184 Hi, There is a Mary Dunham age 83 on the 1860 Taylor, Virginia (West Virginia) census. She is living with Enoch Dunham 49 and the census states she was born in New Jersey. I believe Enoch to be the son of this Mary and they live beside Daniel Dunham. Do you think the headstone (in the photo you have posted) may read 1863 instead of 1853? Thanks, Lynn
Jacob Dunham Memorial 73731780 Hi, Jacob also had a daughter Catherine who married Bailey Latham. In their 5 July 1821 Harrison Co, WV (Va) Marriage Bond, it is stated that Catherine is the daughter of Jacob and Jacob signed the bond. Catherine's birth & death are estimated to be 1800-1865 (Bailey remarried in Aug 1865). Please add Catherine to the list of children of Jacob. Thank you.
RE: Frank Elston Okay. We'll keep our eyes open for other Elston's. There are several Elston's at Royal Palm South Cemetery - that's not too far from Memorial. I came across some Elstun's the other day when we were down there....strange that it was Elston with a "u"...would they be a relative? We'll keep our eyes open. Glad to help you out.
RE: Frank Elston Hello once again. We were at the Memorial Park Cemetery today and came across 2 more Elston's - their names are Edward F. and Margaret A. Elston. They didn't have a memorial page, so we put them up for them. If these are relatives, we'd be more then happy to transfer management of the memorial pages to you.
