|Hello! Welcome to our profile here at Find A Grave! We live on a family farm in Northeast Missouri near where our ancestors migrated back in the 1860's and 1870's.|
We enjoy genealogy and visiting sites from the past, including our local cemeteries where it seems everyone is related:)
The memorials that we have posted here are for family, neighbors, and friends. If you can add anything to any of the sites, like more specific information, or family rememberences, please let us know and we'll be glad to post the information.
If there is a memorial that we have added that is in your direct family line, we'd be glad to transfer the memorial to you so that you may honor your family member as you wish.
Finally, we love to see pictures on the memorials! Please feel free to add anything that you have, or let us know where we can find some to add ourselves.
Enjoy! We'll look forward to hearing from you!

|Lynn ||Mary Dunham Memorial# 73732184|
Thank you for posting a photo of Mary's headstone. Mary is found on the 1860 census living with her son Enoch & his family. The census shows she is 83 & was born NJ. The memorial states she died in 1853. Is there a date on the headstone?

Hi! It's so nice to have found Edward's family and I've transferred him to you. He's not a relative of mine, I only noticed him because of the Golden name. I'm not sure his remains ended up at Calvary, but many of those sent to the Anatomical Board in St. Louis in that time period did, so I put him there. FindAGrave used to have "St. Louis Anatomical Board" as a cemetery, but then they deleted it. Additional research may give you more information. I believe Calvary cemetery has a monument to those whose bodies were dedicated to science and who were then buried there. Good luck in your search!

|Cynthia Metheny Farrington||RE: Joel Clark|
Hi. Thanks. I'm not related. My husband might be, but a man contacted me that is related. I've sent him the link to see your Find A Grave memorial. He may want to manage it. He will let you know. This is exciting because he was having trouble finding the death info and I actually found it, then found your memorial which has his wife and a son linked to it. I will link the parents if you feel this is the correct person. Where did you get the date of Sept. 2? Do you think that was in error? It is so close to Oct. 3 and the right area and age for the Joel on the birth and death records I found. We have the link to the parents. I'll link them. Thanks for your fast response. Cynthia

105809948 for Joel Clark. Are you sure the death date is not 3 Oct 1874? I am looking into a Joel Clark who was born in 1795 in Vermont and died in Leeds, Ontario, Canada. I have his birth and death records. Here is the death record transcription:
3 Oct 1874
Leeds and Grenville, Ontario, Canada and the birth is:
7 Dec 1795
Chester, Vermont, USA
Hannah. What do you think? Cynthia

Most of the stones that we saw were in unreadable condition. I took some photos,besides the ones I posted but even with enlarging I could not read them and some had to same names but couldn't read the dates. That's the best I could do.

|Sharon S||Howard Cemetery|
I went to the Howard Cemetery but found it to be padlocked with many 'No Trespassing' signs on it. I finally found a contact person and have an appointment next week to meet with him. Hoping the weather co-operates and that there are indeed headstones for your requests.
