My full name is Robert Larry Akin and I go by my middle name - Larry. I have been doing genealogy for over 30 years building an Akin family tree of over 40,000 names. I wrote and published a book on the Akin family entitled, "The Akin Saga". It contains about 350 pages of stories, pictures, and genealogical information of the first 10 generations of Akins in my line.

I am married and we had two children both of whom are fully grown and married. We also have two grandchildren - both young adults.
