Indianapolis News, Indianapolis, Marion County - 12 March 1896, Page 1 Mrs. Sarah Worley Special to The Indianapolis News Martinsville, Ind., March 12. -- Mrs. Sarah Worley, eighty-eight years old, died at the home of Dr. B. D. Blackstone, of this city, last night. Mrs. Worley was born near Shelbyville, Ky., December 11, 1807, and moved with her parents to Bloomington in 1824. She was married to Zimri Worley in 1828, who established the Worley House there, fifty-two years ago. Mr. Worley died in 1885. They were the parents of eight children, but three of whom are surviving. Mrs. B. D. Blackstone and Mrs. C. F. Sims, of this city, and J. C. Worley of Bloomington, are the surviving children.
