We live near our town cemetery and the records are, and always have been a train wreck. I started out walking the cemetery for fresh air then I became involved in this web site mainly because there is no online burial index for our cemetery. Now I'm bitten, and crave information on the those who have gone before. If only those headstones could talk.
I welcome and encourage additions, corrections, links or relationship suggestions. Transfer requests are for immediate family. Others should create virtual cemeteries.
# 47255674 John B. Miller I can't use the edit button because I don't know where his parents are but they are Joseph H. Miller and Ruth Sheeks. His wife was Elizabeth Nicol. I'm still searching for them. Thanks!
RE: Tres Piedres Yikes - I don't remember how I got there. I went looking for my Tres Piedras Quadrangle and can't find it. I think that I drove around until I found it.
I think that the information you gave is correct - you could stop at the post office (on Highway 285) and ask. As I recall, the cemetery wasn't difficult to find. Although with the snow now, that might be a different story……
KEENAN Thank you so much for your great photos of the Keenan headstones. I don't know where those other photos came from. I believe my requests had been there for some time until you took these pictures. Odd, now I guess it's another lol! Thank you!
