Bio

For as long as I can remember, I have been interested in the family history. As a child I used to love listening to the adults talk about the "old days," and our ancestors. When I got older I asked questions. You know where this led. I became addicted.

Michigan has been my life long home. When living in Romeo, I became known as the cemetery lady. I read all the township cemeteries in Bruce Township, and the oldest sections of the Romeo Cemetery. This is a great way to learn the history of the area.

Owosso is now home and I have been learning the history of this area, even though I have no ancestors here.

My parents are not native to Michigan. Dad was born in Nebraska, and mom was born in southern Illinois.

If anyone is researching Douglass, Bennett, and Marshall lines in New York, and Morris,Bradshaw, Prichard, Wilson, Hall and Potter lines in Illinois, I would love to hear from you.
