Bio

I am originally from Sullivan County, Pennsylvania, and I maintain the Irish Settlement database on Ancestry.com and I work in conjunction with the Sullivan County Historical Society. My database of over 56,000 individuals (and growing) mainly encompasses Irish families from Bradford, Sullivan, Wyoming, Susquehanna and Luzerne counties of Northeastern Pennsylvania and their descendants.

Since I am related either directly or indirectly to the majority of these families, I focus most of my efforts on Findagrave in establishing the relationships between individuals and linking their memorials together.

I have been working on this project for 30+ years, so when I send an edit, it is because I have documented information to substantiate the change. If I send an edit and you are going to deny it, please give a reason or reach out to me for more information.

I do not mind death certificates or obituaries placed on my memorials. What I will not do is place a long string of census information listing all of the family members for each year. I feel it detracts from the memorial itself. and it is just plan ugly.

Unless a memorial is of a close family member or a genealogical line I am particularly fond of, I am more than happy to transfer a memorial. It isn't my place to determine how close someone may have been with a relative that doesn't fit the F.A.G. transfer guidelines. Just send me a request.
