Maiden name is Sharon Rose Gallagher. Married Lee Roy Smith, 1963 and widowed in 1979. Lee was born Dec. 20, 1942 in Manchester, Clay Co KY. We had one son Todd Michael Smith and one daughter Staci Lee Smith (deceased). Re-married and had another daughter Kristin Loretta Shaffer.|
I am into genealogy, so I thought I would document some of my info and many photo's here. Here is a picture in my much younger days, a senior in High School. I am now 70, and you wouldn't want to see one of those pics!!!

|Phyllis Kubler||Ora Mae Smith|
Sharon, I am searching for my biological mother Ora Mae Smith. I was born in Barbourville, Kentucky in 1940 and was adopted by a family from Michigan at birth. My adoption papers show this name and I have found a name that matches, but do not know if this is the correct person. Through DNA I have found a match to the family of Grover Smith which would be correct, so now I am looking for someone who would have knowledge of a pregnancy for an Ora Mae Smith who gave the baby up. Anyone have knowledge of this who could verify would be very helpful.

Versie Smith Crawford is my Grandmother.

Do you know if this is the son of William "Doc" Smith and Sylvania Tuttle?
Thanks Sharon. I will talk to my aunts and find out what they know. Its ridiculous when people behave in such a way over things like this when all they needed to do was politely correct the information. I will let you know what I find out. If you have any questions about the Grays or Sizemores from Knox Co let me know. The family and I love to talk about things like this.

Can you tell me what their name was? Now, I don't know every person but I am pretty close to the Baker family in Flat Lick which Grays are related to us as well. I can tell you that most of the info that was on my grandparents and uncles pages was correct and what wasn't, I added a note to so that it could get corrected. I will go and take pictures when I am down there at the end of March and put them back on. I will also ask my family to go through the relationships and verify. Sarah Gray Baker is my great grandmother, mother of my grandfather McKinley.. I think you are doing a great job putting all of this together. From what I read, you are related to the Grays and Sizemore's? I will confirm any of the information I see from my part of the family and let you know if there is anything wrong. And please tell me if you still have this man's name.

I was going through some old emails and seen that Sarah's grave was transferred to me and it's perfectly Ok with me. I just didn't know what was happening. Also, I looked at my Grandpa McKinley's and several other family members in Sandy Branch, and all of the pictures are gone. I must have missed some type of change. I will be in Flat Lick next month and can certainly get new pics of everyone's graves.
