|Judy Wilson||Bradenton Memorials|
The weather has not been great for photos but I hope these meet your needs. Feel free to delete any you do not want.
|Dale Safford||Amanda Laurin|
You have sent me a message about Amanda Laurin #95491117 who is buried in Hancock Lakeside Cemetery. I would be willing to transfer her memorial to you. I live 90 miles away in Iron River and did photos in this cemetery while I was on a trip, so would have no accesss to any more information about her and cannot add anything more that would be helpful. Please make a transfer request if you would like to manage her memorial.
|Sandra Everett||Barnes Memorial|
Would you link two additional children to Robert G. Barnes, #102284801, and his wife Bertha Perrine Barnes #102284696?
The children are Clara Beatrice Barnes McClelland #207020100 and Theodore B. Barnes #101168817.
Thank you very much for maintaining this memorial.
|Sunflower Lady||The Pistole family|
Tonight I received a request from you asking me to link James Pistole 1797-1873 to his father Thomas Pistole (I have him listed as Thomas Abraham Pistole, Jr. in my records). I have done this.
Tonight I have also requested his brother, William R. Pistole (#26538886) to be linked to his father now that you have created the father's memorial.
I am wondering if you are a descendant of the Pistole family? I have been hoping that someone would contact me from the Pistole family tree.
I have been searching for more information for William R. Pistole and his son, Alford Henry Pistole (Find A Grave Memorial# 26559254) buried in the same cemetery as his father. He was married to Elizabeth Ann Holland 16 Feb 1841.
If you have any more data on these two men, I would appreciate you contacting me.
|Anonymous||RE: Another Goodreau|
There is a Raisinne Goodreau who purchased Block 50 Section 2. Raisinne (1843-1921) is buried there along with Emma (1848-1922). There is also a Joseph Sylvester buried there who may have been the husband (or relative) of Raisinne's daughter Virginia Sylvester. The plot sales record has a note that lists: Father Raisinne Daughter Virginia Sylvester sons William Sylvester and Joseph (No Last Name Listed). Then there lists Virginia lot 3 Block 14 Section 8 1 space left and the next line reads 1939 son to be buried by his brother in Goodreau lot.
The records for Forest Hill Cemetery show that Frank Goodreau purchased grave #12 in Block 25 Section 9 in 1934 for $12.50. Block 25 has 28 graves and most of them are unmarked. The records show that he was 57 years old. William Goodreau's grave is the 3rd from one end - do you want a picture if there is no headstone?
You had asked about other Goodreau Burials at Forest Hill Cemetery in Houghton, Michigan, so I looked at the Sexton's records (they are on microfilm at Michigan Technological University archives) and found the following list that are not listed in Find A Grave:
Aldrick Richard 57 y/o died 29 Aug 1957
Alice M 89 y/o died 19 March 1993
no first name or dates listed (but buried in section 2)
Barbara Ann 35 y/o died 30 Jun 1963
Clare no age or year, died - Sep 1930
Dorothy Jean 72 y/o died 23 Dec 1976
Edward 85 y/o died 5 Aug 1934
Faith died 1916
Gertrude 85 y/o died 3 Apr 1979
Mervin 21 y/o died 15 Jan 1930
Paul 61 y/o died 8 jun 1988
Ted Melville (stillborn) died 29 Oct 1963
William 57 y/o died 9 May 1934
I can probably find these burials, but they may not have headstones.

|Phil||Maria Hernalsteen Welle|
Hello,Phil from Belgium here,
Today I visited the cemetery of Welle.Looking for your family to take a photo.(photo request)
I must sadly report that there are almost no graves in this cemetery to be found before 1950. Only a few veterans.
And certainly not from before 1930.

|Don Cook||Charles & Sarah Long|
Hi. I am the caretaker for Woodland cemetery and had these 2 listed but only had them as Mr. and Mrs. C Long. I will delete the ones I had in. They have to be the same people but the cemetery books only had them as Mr. & Mrs. C. Long and no dates. They are also buried in unmarked graves so I can not fulfill your photo requests. I am glad to have first names of Charles and Sarah and birth and death dates to add to the cemetery books for them. I wish the past caretakers would have done better record keeping. Did Sarah remarry a Daughtery after Charles Long?
