I have always enjoyed going to cemeteries. So I find it's the perfect way for me to help other people with their family research. If you notice any mistakes, please let me know. I will be happy to correct them. I will gladly transfer any memorials that do not belong to my relatives. If you have any additional information for any of the memorials I've created, I would be happy to add it.

|Liz Martinez||Frederick W. Heine|
I recently found my great grandfather's death certificate. On it, it indicates that his place of burial is Mt. Sinai. That is all it says, so I am wondering if he might have been buried at the church? I do not see him listed, but I am sure they were very poor and perhaps there is no marking. Is there a way to find out if there is any record? His name was: Frederick (W.) Heine, he died in Rocky Point on July 26th, 1900 (burial July 28th)and burial place is listed only as "Mt. Sinai". He was German and born @ 1864, he was married and had many children. That is all I know.
I would appreciate any help.

Thanks for the photos. We truly appreciate your willingness to help with our search.
Thank you for the photo...it showed me the actual spelling, which was the reason for the request.

Thank you Arleen for her transfer.
|Susan||RE: More on edits|
One other thing I've noticed on the new editing procedure. If you have Jane Doe linked to her husband John Doe, then someone sends you an edit to link her to her parents, John & Mary Smith, but the spouse link is left blank (which makes sense, since the spouse is all ready linked), if you accept the edit, it appears it deletes the spousal link.
That is called a flaw.
So just keep your eyes open. You can decline a link, which I periodically do. In the above case, I link the parents manually, then decline the link with an explanation.
FYI, people can get very affronted if you decline links. Even if it's your own parents who someone thinks is someone else. Genealogists can be very stubborn.

I didn't know about it either. Would say I'd missed the memo, but I don't think a memo was sent. I must say, it makes it much easier to do the edits, but it took me a while to catch on to the change
Transferred Lillian, husband and child to you. Happy hunting

You just sent me a message asking me to attach Lillian Andrews 74163364 to her Stone parents. I did so, but wanted you to know there's a relatively new way to do links. Go to the child's memorial, click "edit" in the upper right. Then click on the link for what you want to do (ie, correct name, change or add dates, do spousal or parental links, etc). That brings up another window where you enter the correct numbers, info, etc, then click "send edits". Findagrave then sends the edit to the person managing the memorial, complete with all the info all ready filled in. All the person has to do is accept the edit. It takes a lot less time, and people are more apt to actually do the edits if they don't have to enter the info themselves
FYI, if Lillian is one of your relatives, I'd be happy to transfer her to you
